As big games in April go, lol, this is the first not-so-big, "big" game.
Chance to win first series of season and winning series is always a good thing and
I've read this kid Norris has good stuff AND of course it's CC's first outing.

Only the 3rd game of the season but it would be nice to see CC pitch a "good" game, or at least give us a decent start at this point vs a good hitting team without getting knocked around with the HR ball.

continued....

I am NOT going to over react if CC has a poor outing and I will also give him some slack for the first month or two as long as he isn't consistently imploding by the 4th-6th innings.

I'll be happy if he can go 6 with minimal damage.

...then there is the injury & retirement option....

Here's the team this evening

Ellsbury CF
Druggie DH
Beltran RF
Texeria 1B
Headley 3B
Young LF
Murphy C
Petit 2B
Gregorius SS

Good, and I don't care if they get no-hitted. (yes I do lol)....
At least Girardi IS trying something and tweaking the batting order, and I'm okay with it.

Our old buddy Shane Greene, 4 hits 1 run, 1 walk, 5 strike outs Tigers 7to 1. Gotta feeling we're going to miss that guy.

Yeah but look at the bright side, CC had one good inning so far. Unfortunately he sucks in the 2nd so giving up 3 runs already.

I'm sorry, my mistake, make that 4-0 on 5 hits & its only in the 2nd.

It seems like every time the clown pitches the Yankees are playing catch up.

This teams theme song.... AIC "Down in a hole"

...Sabathia being Sabathia and Greene pitching well... shocker !

...tell me again about Sabathia's velocity.

Must be pom-poms to the dry cleaner's day.

I'll gladly tell you about his location and Greene hasn't made the AllStar team yet.
And may I also tell you that this is April 9?

lol....I have a feeling you aren't too thrilled with this reply, sorry 'bout that.

Come on guys. Did you really expect CC to be good tonight?LOL

...you really have no clue...nothing new.

Nope, can't say I expected CC to be GOOD.....I am hoping➡ as he gets more work his location will improve and also regain a couple MPH on his fastball.

But in his case, most of the baseball world agrees IF he is to become an effective pitcher again, he must locate his pitches better and whether we like it or not, it should improve with time......otherwise HE IS WASHED UP. Give it some more time, a few more starts.

Ever throw darts? Touch and feel.

Don't worry, I'll be the first one to tear him up when I think - imo- it's time!

No you're not.

Don't tell me about having "clues"......stop the crap, YOU have already been proven as wrong as can be AGAINST my opinion regarding Arod "not making it out of ST"....
.....And I HAVE said at the time of the trade that I didn't like to see Greene go.

Now tell me how the Yanks were supposed to maybe put CC on waivers or trade him, LMAO, instead of sticking with him and seeing what he has left.

Now tell the board about Greene (who you are crowing about)......

Ready, set, go➡ Do you think he's the difference between the Yanks competing for a playoff spot? Yanks used him in a trade.....AND the results of that trade are far from being decided....AND they traded him for a YOUNG SS hoping to fill an important role.

And before you respond ....go back and reread this post, I'm beginning to wonder about your nasty confrontational attitude......READ MY WHOLE post....and the board is also welcome.

Reading comprehension.....NOT convenient amnesia!

Lets play nice. It's the same old bad inning Sabathia. The problem is that one inning usually is the difference in the game.

...is that really what you're going to hang your hat on?...seriously?

.....And I HAVE said at the time of the trade that I didn't like to see Greene go.

...you also down played him by saying he "hasn't made the AS team yet"... and you also sad you "expected CC to be good".

Now tell me how the Yanks were supposed to maybe put CC on waivers or trade him, LMAO, instead of sticking with him and seeing what he has left.

...who said anything about "putting CC on waivers"?...where do you get this crap from?

Now tell the board about Greene (who you are crowing about)......

...you mean the fact that Greene pitched well ...and CC hasn't ?

...lmao...wtf are you babbling about now?...you make no sense.

...already told you, reading your "drivel" once is enough...no need for an encore. ...and "nasty confrontational attitude"?...hypocritical much?

Reading comprehension.....NOT convenient amnesia!

...oh, I comprehend what you scribble, I just don't acknowledge it most of the time
