Hope last nights success carries over into today sink the Mariners again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey...this is where we discuss the game today? The thread title was a bit confusing. :bgrin:

I'm hoping this is showcasing that Ryan is healthy and a viable trade chip.

I hope you guys can get something for him...the PTBNL you gave us for him after two seasons batting below my weight was generous.

Yes, but that honestly wasn't the intent.....doh! There is likely no possible way he could stay healthy enough to be traded.

Tom I still can't figure out why they even activated him. My only hop is that he'll be the option for release when Beltran is activated.

More mysteries of the plan....

A post I saw earlier stated that Gardner, Tex, and A-hole were huge for this team, best add McCann into that list, the man has become the hitter the Yankees thought they were getting this season.

No one can tell me that Cano doesn't miss Yankee stadium.

6 hr all season b4 this series......2hr in YS today

drug test him.

Refsynder BA is in Drew territory.....watch him not get the same consideration.

Into the bullpen, this is where the game can end, right here with Seattle's 22nd best/worst out of 30 MLB Teams..........in other words Seattle's bull pen sux.......! let's hope our hitters don't do the same....

Opportunity lost in Bot 6th inning. Could be the
game. As for Cano,.......the temperamental bastard
is hard for Yankee Stadium.....Pineda sure can hang
a slider. After this series, Cano will go into his sulk
mood and flatline.

Big game for Cano....four ribbies......Yanks hit a HR but Seattle/Cano hit two...so far.
Sonavabitch, I wish Seattle didn't rely so much on the "HR" today.
I thought we were the only team which needed to hit HRs to win ball games.
Is it true?.....Do other teams win more often when they hit two HRs?
I thought it was only the Yankees...garshdarnit.

I think Robbie had to come back to NY, to obtain his Prilosec Script filled, with that and numerous other excuses why he's NOT performing well at all, in the Emerald City........

Seattle folk are more concerned about the Salmon, they caught, bought or ate, and more-so concerened when the Sun will be out all day without a minute of drizzle haze........

IMO, I do believe Cano threw his (early bird) HOF ticket in the Puget Sound. He'll never see Cooperstown.

What would most pick, a 10 year $250 Million $$$ contract in Seattle, or more money for 7 yrs to stay in NY, and probably be enshrined in the HOF. Players, to many of them today, just can't see the bigger picture, and are blinded by greed.

Hell, they're not even players these days, just human commodities, traded, and bought on wall street. Recalled (from the Minors, might as well be from a Auto Factory), and are "Property of their Teams....

Upon watching last Sunday's Futures Game, and hearing, so and so, is the "property of the Yanks", ie, another way to say Commodities.....

I've always loved this Crystal-Steinbrenner SNL Moment.......

Fernando's Hideaway: "I'm talking with one of the biggest name in sports, I counted, there are 12 letters in your name".......

the full 4:53 Interview/skit

If Cano gets 50 more Hits this year, he will be 1,027 from the HOF Plateau of 3,000 Hits.........

with 8 years left on his contract, Cano needs an avg of 127 hits per year to reach 3,000

IMO, the stupidest thing Cano did, other than not signing with the Yanx, was Cano's move to hire Jay-Z (and His band of Merry Idiots), to be His Agent, during the Yanx-M's Cano Contract......WTF-when did JayZ ever become a MLB agent???

Hell next thing ya' know, we will see several players with agents like Snoop Dogg. Bor-ASS, Jay-Z, these are a big part of the problem MLB faces today. But then MLB has taken what once were players, and converted them into Commodities, that get recalled, and are property of (whatever team they've signed with)....
