LHP - C.C. Sabathia, (4-8. 5.47 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Felix Hernandez, (11-5, 2.84 ERA)

I don't have a good feeling about today's game.

Today's lineup.....................

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
DH - Rodriquez
1B - Teixeira
C - McCann
RF - Beltran
3B - Headley
SS - Gregorius
2B - Drew

Guh....Lloyd's 5-9:

Gutierrez : basically been hurt/sick for 5 years...9-32 this year.
Trumbo...batting .227, slugging .303
Montero. Well, you guys probably know all about that. Batting 1-8 in his ABs this season
Chris Taylor: The "defensive" shortstop. .167 this year
Zunino: batting .160. He plays about every day and has 41 hits in mid-July.

This game could be 0-0 until Felix's arm falls off in the 11th...

Ref had his cup of coffee, lets see what he does with it.

Not likely with CC Sabathia pitching.

I guess we'll see if a moveable object meets resistible force, what happens.

First Ks that inning for Felix. Little surprised for this lineup.

Classic Sabathia bad inning which starts with the garbage bottom of the lineup.

Hey cash.....remember those guys Montero and Jackson?

Can't complain about one run but just annoyed it was because of garbage hitters. Wake up offense.

when was the last time CC had 7Ks, much less through 5?

On thank god we have Drew! 0-2 only dropped his avg from 182 to 181, lol!

if we don't put up some runs quick, I see the Fernando Rodney Experience (complete with newly-dyed hair and beard!) tossing a 93mph belt-high FB to Arod after walking two in the 8th to snatch this defeat from the jaws of victory,...

Don't worry about Gardner Felix, he's not going anywhere.

1st & 3rd with one out, lets see if they waste a golden opportunity.

McCann strikes out.

Beltran comes through score tied 1-1

can anyone explain why the M's just bunted on a 3-1 count with no outs and a .160 hitter coming up?

Our std answer around here is that it's according to "the plan".

Nice outing by CC....provided we get the W.

fair enough. I guess so is stealing 3rd with 2 outs against a pitcher that's thrown 13 fastballs out of 14 pitches. Not exactly going to bury a splitter in the dirt, now, are we?

In all fairness, AL mgr's get so little practice playing small ball.

Ah.....if were lifting Drew vs LHP, then that negates his defense in late innings. Why is he here again?

Figures, get a game from the Big Donkey and the offense goes out on break. Tone set by Tex when he hit into that 1st inning DP.

That-a-boy Tex. And it couldn't have come against a better pitcher. Don't think the asshole will be shooting any arrows after this game.

OK Tex, I apologize, you knocked the tilt out of Rodneys Cap, but 3 outs to go to keep William Tell from shooting that arrow.

Anytime anyone takes F. Rodney deep, its a Kodak Moment........

Finally a good outing by CC, or is Seattle a fair measure for anything or team......?
