Game Thread Yankees vs. Nationals Saturday 5/8/21, 1:05 pm

Last game out Kluber pitcched well got the win. Heard Pleasac from mlb praising Klubers game to the skies. For Christs Sake it was against the Tigers, even the Cub Scouts couldd whip Detroit. We'll see what happpens but I'd say the pitching favors the Nationals. This Yankee Team came apart at the seams last night, there are many in that line up that need an "attitude adjustment" as my old buddy Bocephus once sang.
 
3 errors in 1 inning last night wtf.

Does anyone have an idea what time this Game might start? All's I see is TBD.

It's supposed to be telecast here but you know my luck with Yankee telecast... in other words don't be surprised if a tornado hurricane or earthquake hits the Bronx any minute now.

From the Yankee Stadium video shown on MLB Network looks pretty ugly right now. No start time predicted they ent to alternate programing and said the game will be broadcast when it starts,

Trade Ford for anything you can get in return. Even a wheel-barrel and a shovel for the grounds crew will work!
 
No Start time yet as they are waiting for the Rain to stop as per The YES Network.

There was a spout tornado in the Barnegat Bay in the Seaside Park area. It was not puny.

Bottom of the second the entire side goes down on strikes. Five consecutive for Scherzer. GT called out on strikes, same with Frazier, while Gardner goes down swinging
 
Ford abandons first base to try and field a bunt back to Kluber.

Combine that with a .100 batting average
And it's high time to trade Ford. If he has not learned how to play first by now he never will!...

WTF was trash man thinking when he brought Ford up to the majors? Better yet what we're scouts seeing or thinking that none of us are seeing now?
 
Yankee Doodles pony kicked a lucky horseshoe up Klubers Butt. Old Alice Cooper line "we've still got a long way to go". Unless some offense steps up the home team will not be victorius today.

DJ reaches out and slaps one to center field for a single. This team needs nine, he'll make it 24, 25 or 40 man roster of DJ LeMahieu's and Gerrit Cole's
 
Ford will be gone once Voit is back (or at least he should be gone but this is Trashman we’re talking about). The bigger issue is that Judge is 0 for his last like 20 ABs. Other than Stanton and DJ there is NO ONE in this lineup that’s hitting over .250. Then let’s factor in that not a single pitcher can go past the 6th inning so the bullpen is ALREADY getting worn out and it’s only May, and you have the reasons why I said this team will be out of the playoffs by 5 games comes the ASB. Poorly constructed team. Poorly managed team. Wish the old man was still alive because Trashman and BaBoone both would’ve been canned years ago.
