Top of the 8th bases juiced, Hicks hits a line drive up the middle scoring Gardner. And what do you know Cutch gets caught in a pickle for out number three...geezus base-running errors

Bad move by McCutchen. Still wondering when Stanton is going to do something for this team. Now find a pitcher who can get some consistent outs.

^^^^....
And to think the Yankees owe Stanton something like 260 million. He starts out cold as ice. Then Boone tells us he's going to get hot and he does a month later. Cold as hell well hell's not cold but you know what I mean

Godner has come alive late in this game. I guess I have less patience than Boner.
Right now I’m pouring myself a drink.....hopefully leading to a good night’s sleep.

Stianton does what he does best, kills the ninth inning rally, 2 on the corners and two out and Stanton WHIFFS 1/5

Yep, Yanks winning but should be ahead by more, offense left way too many on the bases. Wake up Yankees!

^^^^....
One crazy game. 6 Innings of very tight baseball. Followed by three goofy sloppy shit innings and I mean goofy sloppy shit. But then you know you're watching it.

So what should the Yankees do with Gardner's option your next year??

I'd let him walk bring up Frazier and save some money with a two-million-dollar buyout...

Game over Yaanks win 5 to 1

The Yankees win Fucking A man the Yankees win. Gardner is a puzzle palace most of the time you wonder about his work then he'll come up with off the wall shit and you think OK. I still think though that the Yankees will not pick up his option.

The 2 Nails in the A's Coffin-
Voit and Hechevarria-

Voit's 7th HR in 14 gms breaks the 1-1 Tie. Voit hits crooked head sloppy fk Rodney's LL 81 mph curve ball left out over the plate. If the A's use Rodney in a WC, they're more than likely doomed....

Hech extended the lead to 4-1 in the 9th...^^^

We won and.....The O's beat Seattle.
Meanwhile, I can't figure why Cashman acquired McCutcheon. He was a mighty popular player while in Pittsburgh. Right up there with Troy Palumau. Did we need another outfielder? Pitching is the top priority.

Bird was given every opportunity to prove his worth, Voit is the Johnny Come Lately who as Peggy Lee once sang , did right, like some other men do. I don't know if Voit is just plain lucky or lightning in a bottle but the one who does plays, the one who doesn't sits. And there are others in that offense that need to step up as we've seen countless times this season when the bases get juiced. Any man no matter how good he is, can be replaced if his work habits go into the crapper.
