We're gonna hope that Ivan trumps the Orioles this evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ivan trumps....Ivana Trump? I see what you did there.

The squeeze was a huge Ivana Trump fan!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice looking lady back in the day I guess, I really don't keep up with celebrities with their clothing perfume or other lines!

Remember those days where this was a dangerous lineup 1 thru 8?

Lowest HR and RBI totals actually belong to Ellsbury.

I was certainly killing Tex a year ago so I owe him an apology. He's having some year.

As the Orioles go deep making it 3-2 now, I wonder what Warren's numbers would have been by now.

Again with the missed opportunities to add runs.

I also was also "killing" Tex last year and his offensive numbers WERE ugly but only speaking for myself, his wrist probably wasn't still fully healed - IMO - and was still bothering him.
But he was playing through it and I WAS calling for him to be dropped lower in the batting order during those struggles....and I won't apologize for that. lol

He's healthy now, and also playing for a new contract which is one of the reasons why I thought THIS 2015 team would/should be a considerably better run producing team than last year's debacle.

...Yanx continue to get the breaks...what a bad call by the 1B Ump...that was clearly a check swing by Machado.

...gotta keep taking advantage of these breaks because the worm could turn.

Healthy and I think this diet of his worked wonders. He always has been good at first but he looks more athletic out there.

^^^this is by far the best year for both Tex and ARod in a few years.

It always amazes me that Miller can generate the pitch speed he does when you look at the way he throws.

That was definitely a check swing but not getting all the breaks, did you see when A-Rod was up he called time because there was a lose ball in the outfield & the ump didn't grant him the time out & called it a strike. What kind of shit was that.

C'mon Miller don't let this one get away, 4-3 now.

"Yanx have been getting most of the breaks lately...Tex and Arod and to a degree, Gardner have carried this team most of the year".

Good to see Yanks getting "breaks" lately.

They've survived one of the more uneven hectic travel schedules in the league for the first couple of months- had their closer go on the DL and also one of their best SP (Tanaka which was said to be unrelated to last year's injury) on the DL for over a month.

They lost their leadoff hitter Ellsbury for 43 games and he was hitting .324 and over .300 W/risp with a.412 OBP when he got hurt which probably contributed to the Yanks struggling more to win games without "relying" on the HR so much.
His two "replacements", Heathcottt and Williams also got injured almost as soon as they were called up.

Played 20 games in 20 days without their closer and leadoff batter.

Yep, glad to see the Yanks getting a break.

I don't care how good a team is a smidgeon of luck or a "getting the call" break always helps.
