The man has proven himself over the past two seasons. If the Yankees cab tilt German up a notch, and have Loaisiga track on the same path the starting pitching will be so much the better.

...not unusual for young hurlers to start out well...but I don't think the Yanx can bet the season on them continuing as they have or maybe even get better.


...we still need another legit #1 or a VERY strong #2 to compliment Seve...no way the Astros win it all last year without acquiring Verlander at the trade deadline.

...the Yanx have the trade chips to put a deal together...get on the phone Cashman.
