Lineups to follow...

Hard to believe Eovaldi's only 28. Maybe cuz every game he pitched in PS, seemed like eternity. I'd love to see these Yanx get 12 Earned Runs off of Eo, remind him why he's not worthy to wear Pinstripes, spend eternal hell in the Sauna of t/Trop....:devilwink:
His MLB Pic looks like it's from Mugshots.com

I like what Gleybar brings to the field. This would/will be a great series for him.

We've seen rookie pitchers get the call and have success, lets hope the Yankees Rookie will as well. And yeah I'd like to see the Yankees knock the props of Eovaldi but for some reason it seems that former Yankee Personnel come back to haunt. Nuno wasn't worth a shit as a Yankees but he threw 3 scoreless last night. It would also be nice if the alleged "big boys" would start producing.

There are ball players who have had difficulty performing well while wearing the immortal pinstripes;
yet, have no problem wearing another uniform. The list is ‘ad infinitum’.

I'm wondering how many members of the '78 World Champion Team will be on board for Old Timers Activities this weekend. That '78 Team took names, kicked ass, and won it all. The Boston Massacre was classic followed by the Playoffs. That Yankee/Rpyal Series was played on a gas tank. I heard Brett comment that those two teams really hated each other. Then coming back from 0-2 to the Dodgers, Nettles making those plays, Bryan Doyle stepping up. Yep great group that team.

Jonathan Loaisiga ( Pronounced...... LOiceseega ) is taken off the Yankees’ AA
Trenton Thunder. This is Cashman’s attempt to squelch all the negative talk about
lack of pitching talent and/or pitchers ready for the parent club. I am hoping beyond
all hope that he does well because it has become apparent that Cashman
is not able to make a deal for a prime pitcher and to disprove the fact that
a home grown pitcher is not good enough to make the Yankees.

The pressure is not on Loaisiga; it is on Cashman.

Gardner -LF
Judge -RF
Gregorious -SS
Stanton -DH
Bird -1B
Sanchez -C
Hicks -CF
Andujar -3B
Torres -2B

there will be no dinner in paradise tonight in the Mojave. No game telecast. Only Gameday and in progress Wifi highlights...

Honestly I'd rather see no game on, than (like last night) wait all day for a promised telecast, only to have FSP1 pull the plug halfway into the game, or pre-empt t/Yanx with another non-scheduled game; which . MLBtv has done repetitively this year, in So Cal.
Such bs has occurred more than rainouts this year. Spectrum isn't worth a fk.

Marks the ninth time in franchise history that the club has tallied at least 44 wins over their first 64 results
...
  • each of the other eight Yankees clubs reached the World Series (won: 1927-28, '32, '39, '53, '98; lost: 1926, '42)...joins the 1998 team (48-16) as the only Yankees clubs with as good a 64G start over the last 65 seasons (since 1954).
  • RF Aaron Judge is batting .353 (42-for-119) with 30R, 8 doubles, 12HR, 34RBI and 34BB in 34G at Yankee Stadium this season...leads the Majors in home OBP (.494) and is tied for second in HR...ranks third in RBI and in BA.
This years team may be capable of going to the Series, with a ragtag Pitching staff, but winning it may be another story....hell I'ts hard to see going deep in PS without some SP additions. Ntm- decisive trades for SP's, and determining who to keep, who to send down, who to call up.

A helluva lot of IF's with personnel on this team: These guys have to peform, and how long I gotta wait, as DiBitetto says-
Drury
Dingleberry (get rid of him, no more waiting)
Walker
Bird
Sanchez
Wade

At the 30 second mark-

Best of luck to the Rookie pitching the game this evening. Be nice if the offense shows tonight to help the kid out.

Hey Sanchez get your head, your glove and your bat into this game. The kid needs your help......
don’t act like a douche bag!

Ok. Good first inning. Kid sitting at 97-98 which is good to see. had to be nervous that first inning.

Nice pick off move. Jon LaSagna, you are ordained. Something members of this Yankee pitching staff
do not know how to do!

Now let’s knock the shit out of this past Yankee failure.

Stanton, you suck. If Trashman were smart, he’d trade your ass quicker than you
can catch a fly ball.
