Good to see Severino on the Mound. Guess it don't really matter, with our Bullpen Sandy Koufax could pitch eight Innings and would be screwed....

I don't have a warm fuzzy about going into the Trop Sauna, Yanks record versus TBR 7 wins 8 losses...

Tampa Bay 7W-3L in the last 10 games.
15 Wins - 5 Losses in the last 20 games.
Tampa took 4 of 6 from Cleveland
Swept Baltimore like we should have
Tampa took 2 of 3 from Oakland
Swept Texas
TBR won 4 of 7 from Toronto

Oakland is 1 1/2 games back in the wild-card race and face Seattle & Anaheim
 
A loss to the Rays makes me livid with rage. The Yankees started the season series kicking ass on that team then fell on their asses the rest of the way. The one thing Yankee Fans are most worried about is Boner, a mistake waiting to happen. I sure wonder how he spun yesterdays loss highlighted by Cole and Kahnle. The man is beyond stupid in my book. Note to Boner" concentrate on the game at hand. As my old buddy Kris Kristopherson wrote, "yesterday is dead and gone, and tomorrows out of sight"
 
The Rays are on a torrid pace, one I am not sure these Yankees are up to facing no less beating.......
especially in the cavernous Trop. To beat a team this hot, only good pitching can do it.
That is one area that has been shaky the last three months. But the man pulling the strings
on pitching decisions will definitely be the key how this team succeeds or fails, and Yankee fans
have seen his past ludicrous moves. What is in store for us the rest of the way?
 
Granted Gregorius will be a missing link but the other position player will need to step up. If they are going to whine and snivel about being a man down the quit and fucking go home. We seen the same shit with Judge. This is a team game, damn it skip the pity party and play baseball.
 
Oakland still has a shot as the division. Hopefully the Mariners will scramble their eggs on that run. I seriously doubt that the Angels could do the same.

Just got in from doing errands. WTF! BaBoone is pulling a Tampa Bay.....starting a reliever, and now
Gray who I had hoped would just disappear.

Runner at 2nd, no out all three Yankee hitters fail. If Andujar & GT aren't hitting tonight this team is in trouble.
 
They are playing stupid baseball on defense, a passed ball, Voit error, and Gray continues to throw
50’ pitches. Between he and Sanchez they look comical, but they are not!
 
I will not be shocked at all if the Yankees I lose home-field advantage to Oakland. History has not been kind to the Yankees in Oakland...

In fact I would say Oakland has been mighty generous to New York in the past I. E. Reggie Jackson and Catfish Hunter for beginners...
