Eovaldi vs. Odorizzi

Lineup:
Ellsbury CF
Gardner LF
Castro 2B
McCann C
Arod DH
Gregorious SS
Hicks RF
Ackley 1B
Torreyes 3B

Don't know where Ricky is, so there you go guys.

These Idiots refuse to work the pitch count, swatting at the first pitch constantly. Drives me Fucking crazy.

I haven't bashed Girardi but this is bullshit. Unless I missed something on Beltran, and I can't believe I'm saying this, he takes him out early yesterday only to have a bases loaded situation in the 7th with his spot up and a chance to get back into it, now today he is resting and so is, I can't believe I'm saying this Headley, who combined has been our best hitters lately. Now starting the 4th with no hits, I can't take it anymore.

According to what I read on ESPN this Am Beltran has a shoulder problem, and we all know about Tex. Don't remember about Headley. I've pretty much supported Girardi since game one '08 but lately I'm really beginning to wonder what the hell is going on up there. Also tired of seeing A-hole in there, that is on Steinbrenner should have let him walk, ditto CC. Damn shame the way this franchise has fallen especially since the '13 season. Can't switch Teams I've been a fan for 61 years but sure hate what I am seeing.

I guess that is what bothers me most. I don't see anybody caring in the Front Office. Since you and I are about the same as far as age apparently, I haven't felt this since CBS/Mike Burke ownership. George spoiled us all.

I hope Odorizzi gets a No-Hitter against these Whores and listen to stuttering Joe on the Post Game trying to explain himself.

This team is the definition of offensive mediocrity. I don't know what you expect from Joe Girardi with the collection of garbage he has to field on a daily basis. Not to mention Beltran hurt his shoulder yesterday so it gets even worse if he's going to be out of any extended period.

'I can't believe your saying this', either Frank...:biglaugh:

That inning could have really gotten ugly. Eovaldi getting better support from his cup than his team mates.

Headley, He's got the day off cuz he's constipated, (in more ways than one), that's why there is no Rick today, he's administering a Fleet Enema to Chase....(Richelle 2 Teams, squared...? whaaaat!!!)...? :princess:

bye bye No Hitter, wow, 1 hit, one walk shy of a Perfecto so far, what a day thus far....

At least Castro has some heart.

No doubt, that He does, and its very obvious Starlin is more than happy to be back home playing, where he always dreamed of playing....

in front of friends and family, ... not just where one lives closest too, but dreams of playing, like most here if not all, if they had a chance to play MLB would be in but one Home Park-YS.

the dreams, legends are made of....not saying Castro is or will be, hope so one day years from now....Jeter tho' fit the bill to a T....

Or Hank Williams "Better pack up your suitcase and leave in a hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Leave Me Alone With The Blues)

This game has got to go down in the Win column....

los tres bomberos.... should mop this one up,

a Win on one hit, that would be something, tho' Odorizzi wouldn't think so....

Or Hank Williams "Better pack up your suitcase and leave in a hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Leave Me Alone With The Blues)

If only the King of Honky Tonk, Hank himself had of wrote a song with the lines:
"don't let the door hit you in the ass,
you've stayed to long,
so now you can kiss my ass,
your promise faded fast,
odd we do better without your lame lazy ass,
doing the one thing you best,
grazing in the grass"...
So don't let the door hit you in the ass.....

Good job Tex, continuing right where you left of ^&&^&^$^%$%$#!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tex is hitting by Braille this year....special bat, gloves, helmet (with mic to pick up sound of the ball)...
With each HR, he donates one million to the Hellen Keller foundation, tho' these days, I think he's revised HR to HIT....

102 mph strike 3....a thing of beauty, a big swing, a bigger miss...

Hicks saves face with that OF fly-Out #2, he had to step back for.

The Trop, that says it all. I can't think of any Stadium, in which I'd not ever want to play in, than the Trop...perhaps the Old Polo Grounds, ...? nah, the Trop makes TPG look like Central Park...for baseball...

Nice pitching performance today, thanks to Castro for the win. The last time the Yankees won a game with only 1 hit was 1914.

Girardi said that he used Teixeira to pinch hit because Ackley hurt his Right Shoulder diving back to the bag. He will have a MRI as per Meredith Marakovits.

Big horseshoe up the Yankees Butts today. Odorizzi threw a better game than Nate with both not getting much support. Reminds me of a game Clemens threw against the Bostons losing 1 to nothing an a bomb hit by Trot Nixon. Sometimes a smidgen of luck has to accompany the plays and we saw that today. On the other hand this year we've witnessed Tank lose some toughies as well. As much as I hate the God Damn Rays I feel a bit for Odorizzi. Without looking it up I think the last time the Yankees were no hit by a single pitcher was 1958. Hoyt Wilhem was the pitcher of record and that was against the Mantles, Berras, Bauers and the like.

Good things from Eovaldi which I do like to see. Other than that it's a lot of crap.

It's too bad guys like Jack Curry have to go from reporting to becoming a Yankee shill. Yeah get to .500 and then try to make some moves up in the division. Lets ignore that this team has a third baseman hitting .235, a first baseman hitting .193, a left fielder at .221, a catcher at .230, a DH at .170, a fourth outfielder at .194 and an extra infielder at .148.
