Let’s hope Tanaka is on today. Snell is their best pitcher of late. The hitting is almost non existent.
It’s as if the whole team has hit a brick wall. They are stuck!
BaBoone’s smoke & mirrors is not able to work the magic.....

Losing last night was another trip and fall (fail) as Houston and Seattle won. To me, Losing to Tampa Bay is on the same level as losing to the O's.
 
Got up this morning, jumped on my yardwork early so I could watch the game. Then I see Boners "Tower of Strength" lineup . I wonder if Boner knew that Snell was pitching r if in fact he gave a damn.

Don't know what is going on, this game is supposed to be on MLB Network but they are subbing with bullshit. Speaking of bullshit it liioks like the Nipper Clipper is off to a roaring start.
 
This pitcher has problems pitching every 5th day. What will Yankee management do next?
Start making exceptions and start this guy & others every 7th day instead with the hope that
the extra days rest will help. And meanwhile we get to see Cesspool, et.al. pitch those other
days. The game would be a circus on the mound.....if not already!
 
Already Tanka in 1.1 innings has given up 5 hits. The way things look the Yankees will be lucky to get
5 hits the whole game with the likes of Walker, Higashioka, Robinson, etc.....

...yup, it really doesn't do any good to have a good pen if your team is already down by 4-5 runs.

I heard a Tyler Austin interview when he (Austin) stated that he knew how important Bird was to this club. I know Tyler Austin knew what he was talking about, the mystery is where did Birds abilities at the dish go. Every time I see him due up all I can think of is auto out.

Tanaka must have showed up for work a scoshi stinko today. He has kept his team in the game, and had some nice pick-offs. So what's the problem, the God Damn offense.
 
OK Tanaka, you are losing but you held serve giving up no bombd with men on base. Enjoy that post game Beef Fried Rice capped with a glass of Akadama Wine. .
 
Torres mechanics at the plate are not at all the same prior to going out on the DL...

Yankees are 47-4 when getting a quality start from their starting pitcher...

A starting pitcher records a quality start when he pitches at least sixinnings and allows three earned runs or fewer. A starting pitcher has two jobs: to prevent runs and get outs. The quality start statistic helps to quantify which pitchers did a "quality" job in those two departments.
