Holland vs. Montgomery

Lineups to follow...

The starters are both seekers, Montgomery to validate a bona-fide rotation fixture, Holland to re-establish himself in a starters role. Go Yankees, May birds fly with the court in session this evening.

Ellsbury -CF
Hicks -LF
Holliday -DH
Castro -2B
Headley -3B
Judge -RF
Carter -1B
Romine -C
Kozma -SS

^^^I'm assuming that Caeter is getting the nod tonight over Bird because Holland is a LHer...even though Carter is no better than Bird vs southpaws.

...^^^ That would be my guess, Lil...or maybe Joe is thinking that since Bird kinda broke out in a big way yesterday, today might a good time to give him a day off to reflect on everything and then start again tomorrow vs a RHer ...who knows?

Oh no we have Al Leiter in the booth tonight, another one that can't shut up for 5 minutes.

ooh your a Holliday, every day such a Holliday,
now it's my turn to say, and I say you're a Holliday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see J-mo getting it done, liked that guy in ST glad he finally made the club.

glad they got rid of Melky, he looked like a Little Lgr, bumbling Headley's line drive bullet pinball-

Holliday, great pick up; brings a vet's presence to the team, and shit can he hit.

Judge is putting it together.

Monty's looking good, hope he puts a career together in the Bronx...

Always liked Hollidays' game, the man is a winner. There was some head scratching when he was signed but somehow I thought he'd be a damn good presence on this team. Heard he was really exuberant about getting to Yankee Stadium and putting on the pinstripes. Good stuff from a vet like Holliday.

My husband is getting pissed because I keep flipping on Dancing with the Stars during the commercials.

I'm really liking what the make up of this team looks like and if the starting pitching is better than what it was supposed to be we might make some noise in the wild card derby this year

...they say that the youngsters really migrate towards Holliday and his experience, and really listen to what he has to say about preparing before the game and how to handle yourself off the field.

Saw Judge being interviewed last nigh, kid seems really level headed, many of the young Yankee players were akin to Holiday with the put on the pinstripes and play for the home folks. Seems like these youngster know what this franchise has to get back to. Also credit Girardi, he's able to manage well because he's got people who give a damn.

You should have pulled the plug on this kid Girardi, you saw he was running out of gas. Idiot.

Still up by 4, J-mo did well this evening in spite, give him a "Cheeseburger In Paradise" at the post game spread.
