I would have said Godzilla, but Matsui retired. Would have loved to hear the WS announcers do Godzilla vs Rodon schtick.

...HA !!!

You can put it on the board yes!!!!! Grand Slam for Tex. 6-0 Yanks.

One helluva shot. Tex, nice going.

Eovaldi, pitching the life of Riley. Teammates give him
tons of run support...............when he's pitching.

Rick....you notice the lowest BA in tonight's lineup currently .259

...don't blame you, Ells...I can't believe he called that a strike either.

And, as the Yankee offensive machine is on track, we'll see about the pitching.
Need a good game from Eovaldi - he has to show progress going forward -
Severino will get his chance......and gee whiz,....
ALL of the Yankee top prospects are still here.

:twothumbs:

Tex is unconscious at this point. 28 homers and 73 RBIs. Quite the comeback season.

The older players on this team need days off........they just
cannot go day in and day out.
Who finally got in Tex' head that he'd be better off hitting
straight away. Love he's not trying to pull everything.

wow 11-2 now thats a nice way to tune in, tex, 2 dingers, arod hittin em left and right... dam, was jete's holdin these guys back???? lol

i understand the need for a day off, but do you really believe its a day off? these guys still have to be at the ballfield, in my day for a 7.pm start at 3:45, they take BP & Infield for bout an hour, go back for a shower and back out for game time, they sit on bench with the possibilty of getting called on for whatever the reason may be. Me, i'm there i would rather be playing... now, when the avg joe has a day off, they go nowhere near the job... to me thats a day off.

easy kay, thats what we call an el torador play, a hard hit ball you do not want to get in front of

Eovaldi looked like he was running low on fuel. Keep your foot on their neck Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the huge difference is Tex healthy and having an MVP type season and Arod not only returning, but having a huge season as well.

Pasta, I get what you're saying. I just think that some
players on this team perform better given time off from
the actual game.

Meanwhile, before we presume Warren being a possible potential solid reliable SP for the rest of the season- lets first hope he does his CURRENT job of being a good "7th inning" guy who can pitch an occasional 2+ innings when called upon in close games.
