Tie game, 4-4...going to the 8th.

Sloppy defense by the Cards gives Yanx a 7-4 lead in the ninth.

Yanx walk out of St. Louis with their first sweep in 5 weeks...8-4, good guys. Tied with Boston in the loss column and now only 5 back of the Jays.

With an off night for the Yanx, and losses by the Sox and Jays, the Yanx pick up a 1/2 game on Toronto and Boston. In fact, in the 10 games the Yanx have gained 1 game on the O's, 2 games on both the Jays and Rays, and 3 games on the Red Sox.

Every time I'm ready to give up on this team....they keep pulling me right back in again.
