Two new lists have come out of late,
#1 The 50 most powerful people in sports.
#2 The 50 most powerful people in New York sports.
The first list has people like.......
Derek Jeter #3, Hal Steinbrenner #5, Mike Francesa #8, Brian Cashman #12, Jay-Z #23, Alex Rodriquez #27, Suzyn Waldman #40 (I can only assume this was meant as a joke), Donald Trump #49.
The 2nd list had Jeter at #1, from there on it gets pretty comical when you see that Mike Francesa is #2, Jason Giambi is #4 (WHAT?), Jay-Z #5 (Again WHAT?), The head of the WWE Vince McMahon at #6 & Richard Todd at #7. I stopped reading after that.
Like I said, you just can't make this shit up.
