Not bad for a pasty white guy from Gonzaga. Only 20 years old. Has he maxed out on potential?

I do like Collins. He's an exciting young player. I see a lot of potential. He's smart, skilled, aware, and he has a bit of a mean streak. What's not to like?

He has really impressed me out there. His court vision and passing I love. And that McHale up and under, very nice.

I think he's great. But I never held the fact that he was a pasty white guy from Gonzaga against him. He proved all he needed to last year in March Madness.
I was bummed because he WAS a big white guy and I had NOT watched in in college at all. So it was on me. I love his game. Going to be damn good. I can tell you the assistants love his attitude and work ethic. Busts his ass out there.

He's all business. Very serious. No posing. Not self conscious. The anti-Meyers.

BBert, I disagree that Zach is the anti-Meyers. In fact, both are energetic bigs and it appears that Meyers may be helping Zach with swish3 pointers that help him. I imagine that these 2 bigs can and do help each other, and offer a lot to handle when both are on the court.

He and Ed have nice chemistry and that is a huge facet for a team heading to the playoffs.

Meyers is a better shooter, but that's it. Zach is easily the anti Meyers

We should offer Collins and Lillard for the Ball kid on the Lakers, @HCP said he's going to be really good.

He had his first good game against a good opponent. And he finally showed some flashes.

Still doesn't change the FACT that there have been multiple rookies picked after him that have been better.

Take a look at what Jarrett Allen and Bam Adebayo have been doing this past month. Two guys his age, playing his position who have been finally getting consistent minutes.

Cute. An 8th seed and a lottery team. If Collins played on a shit team he’d get unconditional minutes too.

And if you think the OKC game was Collins first good game, you aren’t paying attention. He’s earned the minutes he has gotten.

I'll disagree with you on that one (and let's not get carried away, we're 2 games above the 8th seed in our own conference. Miami is no slouch). They just look far more advanced at this stage in their careers. Let's see their progression over the next few years.
