What's it gonna be? We're rockin' a standing rib roast, Yorkshire pudding, and all the trimmings!

Christmas Eve, we go over to my parents' house, and every year, we've done a buffet-style potluck dinner for as long as I can remember. Mini sandwiches, Lil' Smokies, crackers, cheese, veggie tray, chips, etc.

Christmas dinner, it's ham, au gratin potatoes, green beans, and rolls. Wouldn't change either dinner for a thing.
 
I know Jews are supposed to get Chinese takeout but I prefer my own cooking. Duck breast with port wine cherry sauce, Persian rice, butternut squash, but tartlet and eggnog.
 
Just the wife and I
-Smoked Oysters
-Stuffed Potatoes
-Frozen Fruit salad
-Sautéed Rooms
-Prime Rib

Grilled Ahi.....homemade garlic ham bread....sweet potatoes ....stir fried veggies...probably apple pie some Taiwanese dumplings and potstickers...not a very traditional spread but we're not Christians so the holiday is just about spending time with family...Me, wife, son daughter in law and grandson..Merry Xmas to all of you! Stay safe and enjoy the holiday!

Christmas will be a holiday ham while New Years will be a wagyu prime rib roast with the bones.

Love Vietnamese food except the fish and sauce.
My sons wedding was at a Vietnamese church and during the reception they served a huge bowl of fish and sauce which I didnt like but ate anyway out of respect. All the other stuff I love including the people.

If fish sauce could get a person intoxicated, I’d be drunk a lot. The KFCs in Vietnam all provide small packages of fish sauce lol.

Ended up getting Take Out from "The Kettle", a 24 hour diner type spot. Got a burger and a chicken tortilla soup.
