Your neighborhood?

My neighborhead is right near the projects. Seriously my area made me a beast in basketball. Playing ball in the park and at my house is the way I usually practice. I live by the projects too. But the next wierd thing is thta there is a chinese church right across my house. So basically on sundays you'll see asians and black people walking down the block. But my neighborhood is cool. My neighbor is in my homeroom class and starts with me on the team. mad close to each other. Stores around my block is Waldbaums, CVS, Blockbuster(closing next year though

), coutry donuts, village maria(Pizza resteraunt), some chinese resteraunt,dry cleaners. Then there is a mini golf and go karts. So I love it over here been here all my life.

It's a nice quiet area, It's extremely small. I live in a very small town. There is only one basketball court nearby which nobody ever plays on so I have to go into the inner city to get good pickup games going. It's not the best city because of the crimes but I made quite a few friends from playing basketball there. I live right by the local Country Club. It's really nice but I have only been in it twice. I don't know how to explain my neighborhood because it's kinda in the middle of suburbs and projects. You have your gardening moms, but you also have your cocaine smokers. Everything centers around the park, everyone spends their time there. I'm there for basketball, others are there to practice graffiti, and others are playing in the swings and stuff. The closest business is Subway, KFC and Taco Bell, I can arrive in about 20 mins just by walking. I also go to my barber walking, it only takes around 10 minutes.

It's a very quiet neighborhood, tons of old people, and a lot of rich people. It's nice, pretty damn boring, but I can't complain. I live in the middle of the f*cking woods... no joke. 10 minutes in any direction takes me out of them and to random towns that I enjoy going to.

My neighborhood is rough like sand paper. I live in the Central side. Nearby the North End(Where a sh*t load of crimes, murders, robbing happen)A lot of the North End sh*t transfers here. My STREET is clean, safe, peaceful. Anywhere else, Better watch yourself. Also, I go by the West End a lot(It's where my school is), It's like another version of the North End but not THAT crazy. You still gotta watch yourself though, Or you're gonna get jacked.

My street nothing happens but then down the block cops are there, kidnapping happens, brawls at the jungle gym too. Then pass my street its perfectly fine.

My neighbor hood is actually pretty nice.It's basically a preppy, white, rich area...one of the richest cities in Michigan actually.It gets very boring in Bloomfield Hills - so lots of kids resort weed. The cops blow because they have no crime so they stop you for goin 5 over. There's some decent restaurants over here...I love Leo's Coney Island, BK is awesome here, there's a Taco Bell, a White Castle, Subway, Little Ceasers, and some other random stores within the 5 mile radius of where I live.My other city is Down Down Detroit CityThat's where I'am usually during the week...dormingThe area where I live - which is the wayne state campus and down town detroit is awesome. I love it - it's safe, and there's always sh*t to do around there.Go a little north and than you're in sh*t...There's everything to eat in Detroit.

Well, my neighborhood has houses, lots of them. And there's a nice field at the end which would be good for a small football game but I never go there. And if you take a 15 minute walk away you reach a little area with about 10-15 fast food places.

I live in a pretty good sized city. I love it, been there since Kindergarten.

Well, 1st off, before this summer I had never known anyone in my entire neighborhood..Even though I've lived here all my life. I don't go to the public school around here, I go to a Catholic School like 45 minutes away. It's a pretty small neighborhood, but its alright. All summer, I started going to the basketball courts, and I met ALOT of people my 1st day..And I got dunked on for the 1st time..haha..Everyday of the summer I went there for like 6-7 hours a day, and just had fun, played basketball, and hung out..Theres really nothing in my neighborood at all, except the basketball courts..so thats good..Its a nice area though, not much crime, nice suburb of atlanta.

I live in Carmel, a suburb of Indianapolis. It's pretty much has the lowest crime rate in the world. Some people in Carmel are rich, most are middle class, and then some are lower. But everyone getsw along really well. It's a nice place to live. We have parks all over the place, some nice paths for skating/bicycle riding/joggin/walking. I couldn't be happier.

Well, my neighborhood is halfway ok, but its in the middle of East and South Dallas, both of which arent very good places to live. My street is quiet and theres a park with a bball court 1 1/2 blocks away, theres always people there so its a nice place to go play. Its basically a black and mexican neighborhood, you will rarely see a white person here, except for when the Cotton Bowl or the Texas-OU game happens ( I live about 5 minutes walking distance from the State Fair). South Dallas is sort of close and most Dallasites will tell you its a craphole down there sometimes. Crime is a bit above average (you can hear the gunshots at night) weve gotten robbed twice since we moved here, they stole all my dads power tools and my bike. :no3: Overall my neighborhood is pretty decent.

I live in a place called Ghetto Poleglass...Its actually like the ghetto of the city, but its not that bad...Theres nothing at all to do, my closest court is about 10 miles away, and theres nobody playing there ever, and no buses gopast there so its immensly hard to get to....All the girls are ugly with STD's and babies...

I live in a nice middle class neighborhood on Doty Island, yes, I live on an island...the middle of the island is middle class but everything on the water is upper class.

I live in a middle class area right in a 350k population city. I have probably the best house on my street, even though it's not that great. I live by a bunch of old people with small houses, and some college students/trailor trash hicks. My family actually has quite a bit of money, we just don't live in a great area. There's actually quite a bit of crime. My house has been robbed about 3-4 times. My XBOX and PS2 once, camera once, and my car stereo lol. My old car was stolen, but that was by a coffee shop away from my neighbourhood. If you go a little farther down my street, there is a pretty big shopping area. A few fast food places, a small mall, and some restaurants. Also, there's a place there where I go to get my haircut. My city has the 2nd or 3rd most crime in Canada. Alot of drugs, and thefts...So, that's pretty much my neighbourhood...

I live in Castro Valley... Stereotyped to be a very white and rich area. Theres like 4 sections of CV, palomares, 5 canyons, columbia, and just the regular cv... palomares and 5 canyons are full of extremely rich asians. but dunno about columbia... I live in the 'regular cv.' like 20 minute walk from my school, which is pretty cool. my neighborhood is pretty much boring. I live on a little hill. sometimes if im mega bored, I take my scooter and go all the way up and ride down all the way. and im not rich and I live around all white people... ALL...closest court is my backyard but its crap because my parents wont pave it with cement, so its on dirt and grass.. the grass is almost gone because im f*cking it all up tho. but when it rains.. its all muddy.. and its been raining lately.. so I havent played bball in WEEKs... ahhhh I need some bball

I probably know where you live.It's weird because I used to live in the North End and now I live in the West End.Anyways, my neighborhood is pretty good. When you live by a major street it's much more ok. The general area is bad though. Theres a lot of drunks screaming at night, kind of funny but can get annoying.I go to school in the North End though, I know that place like the back of my hand. I spent 14 years of my life there. It's not bad there, but that's because I lived closer to West Kildonan, which is MUCH better. The heart of the North End is really bad though.

I live in Canada. So my city used to be a really nice place. But its getting worse. My street is nice but within a KM (Slightly smaller then a mile), there is a rapest infested cat walk. And some back cuts to get to the mall, where my brother got mugged in.theres only one public net, and nobodys ever there. So I'd rather go o a frineds house or before my net was taken down play at my house. Too many puck heads.

I live in a medium sized township called Commerce Township in Oakland County Michigan. Theres a lot of rich people, middle class (Me) and some lower class people. It's a pretty alright area. Lots of lakes near me. About 40 min. drive to Detroit, half hour to Pontiac, and overall I'm happy here. Been here all of my life.

I have lived in a few places throughout my life. I have lived in St. Louis, Des Moines, Springfield (Ohio), Sunberry (Ohio, pretty close to Columbus), and I am currently living in Elida (Ohio), which is basically Lima. Elida is a nice, small neighborhood. Our school is pretty sad. The building has been around since the early 1900s and it is falling a part...Actually falling apart- the basement even floods to some times three feet when it rains. There usually isn't any problems crime wise or anything in Elida. It is a safe place. We have only had a few murders this past year, like as in only one or two. All the big time stores and some local ones are all with in a 5 minutes drive from my house. This is this one road where they are all located on, so you don't really have to go out of your way. There isn't any where to play hoops in Elida, but there is in Lima. Lima isn't even 8 minutes from where I live, so it isn't a big deal to get there. They have a place to play basketball, it is called "Rob Park." There are some decent players there, but nobody special comes from this area. Although, Jamal Butler from Ohio State came from here. I wouldn't be suprised if he played at "Rob Park" but I can't say he did.
