Zach Collins a bust?

Wait what? Did my post get erased?

Yes. It's an article about the Blazers by a legit news source. There is nothing wrong in posting it. Calling someone names because you don't agree with the article is silly. Attack the post, not the poster.

And who projects him to be a dominant Center of the future. All we were looking for was a competent backup Center that can play good defense and block shots. Sorry we didn't draft Shaq, I guess I'll have to drown myself in Soylent and Voodoo Doughnuts now.

Goddammit don’t make me defend that shitty article but he is a lotto pick in a deep draft; at 10 we should expect a starter, yeah?

Only top 3 picks should have those kind of expectations. He is a 19 year old project that has played 10 games in the NBA. If one would actually watch him on the court, he is a good player and with development he'll be fine. I'm not worried whatsoever.

I could've sworn I did.

This article is funny. Wait until he gets real comfortable and his shots start falling. The nice thing about Collins is that he doesn't want to be good, he wants to be great.

So, let me get this right....

A Seattle blogger waits until dude actually has shown flashes of having some good potential to bash him in writing? It'd have made more sense two weeks ago.

Smells of a dude who lost his NBA team and is bitter about how the last 5 centers they drafted turned into some of the biggest, no-talent busts ever.

He's probably a Warriors fan, after being a L*kers fan after pretending being a Sonics fan while they were bad but was really a true fan when they were good with Payton and Kemp.

I found this article irritating! Not because I care what this fellow says but it does point out we do not get a lot out of the big guys Portland has. I mean Nurk, Leonard, and Collins. I don't like how Stotts uses them more to the point, his lack of using them. It appears to me that he lets the team run as they work it out. None of them know how to work well with a big man and the big men themselves have never learned to use their assets working with well trained ball handlers/playmakers.

All three of these guys could serve as the center of the offense while the smaller guys work off the ball, like you might have seen from coaches like Jack Ramsay. Especially after a session with Pete Carril. Nope, never see it. We see small ball! Crap.

A guy who looks about 16 and posts for free on something called Oregon Sports News is a legit news source? Mmmkay.

God damnit, I want that time back.
