You will very likely get your wish. The NBA needs money. That would be a big money maker.

False. "Pretty much all of the league" doesn't have bigger length than Nurk, Zeller, Nance, Roco, that can contribute to wins.

Plenty of other teams have the potential for injuries if not more so than Portland. All three of Brooklyn stars missed large chunks of the season or playoffs. Both the Lakers stars missed large parts of the regular season or playoffs. Golden State hasn't made the playoffs in years, two guards with significant injury history, and little depth. Porzingis in Dallas has significant injury risk and they also don't have a quality 4th and 5th starter as Portland does. Zion has been injured and now has a broken foot.

The Blazers have plenty of ways of not succeeding next season, as is the case with even the best of teams in the NBA.

Yes Nurk or Zeller could get injured, but so could all these other teams superstars.

Two of those guys are 6'7" and the other two aren't quite 7' of course most of the league has contributors that are taller than those four. That being said, the average player in the NBA is 6'6.3" and the average player in our starting lineup is 6'5.2". The average height of our 13 man roster as of today is 6'5.7". Our likely rotation of Dame, CJ, Norm, RoCo, Nurk, Nance, Ant, Snell, Nas and Zeller is an average of 6'5.8". We're small. We start small, we're small overall and we're small in our rotation. Don't be delusional and try and say otherwise.

As for injuries... come on man! We get injured just as much as anybody. Our biggest player is extremely injury prone, our backup C that we just acquired misses a bunch of time, Nance has missed a ton of games. So let's hope, just like the teams you're mentioning are hoping, that our players with injury history buck the trend and stay healthy.

Maybe they are as shocked about the lack of size on roster and are just double checking the numbers.

Is there a roster listing of the fall training camp, anywhere?

My boss just sent me this, because in a text chain I was cracking jokes that I don’t even know who’s on this roster! He just sent it to me.

Im thinking 47-49 wins and dangerous if healthy.
I thinking both Naz and Ant will be more impactful.
Good mix of seasoned vets and possibility of a youngster or two coming into their own.

    Dude?
The Blazers have one 7 footer. Their backup center is 6-10.
Nobody else on the team is over 6-9. NOBODY???
The two that are 6-9 are Marquese Chriss and Greg Brown.

Next comes Roco and Nance at 6-7

Yes the Blazers are undersized and most of the league has more length. Sad fact is Nurk is an injury waiting to happen.

You have a point. Also they are old and probably just as injury prone.
Difference? They have three at 6-10 or 6-11 and they have Lebron James. Or are we just forgetting they have the best player in the league?
Plus Ariza and Anthony at 6-8.
The Lakers can go Big if they choose. Blazers not so much but with a little injury luck the Blazers could match up with the Lakers right? Right?

LOL Billups already told the players not to be begging for a challenge in the 1st and 2nd quarter because of a bad call on them. He really values timeouts. I feel that was directed at Nurk who was always asking for a challenge on a call against him.

And the Blazers can’t go big if they choose? They can go Nurk-Nance-Roco in the front court at anytime. That’s three dudes with wingspans over 7” and a minimum of 230lbs.
