If we started 100% of our rookies end of last year and start 100% day1 this year it'll be only one rookie starting.

They were all rookies at some point, man...

Very rare for us to only have one drafted rookie on the roster. 2016 we did with Jake Laymen and 2020 with CJ Elleby. They were both 2nd round picks though. Need to go back to Qyntel Woods in 2002 when our only rookie was a first round pick from what I can tell.

Actually crazy how many 2nd round picks as rookies we've had on the roster over the years. For an average NBA team it should be 1 per year but we had tons of years with multiple ones. I guess that was part of Paul Allen being willing to spend a bit more money and loving the draft. Certainly had a number of very good role players throughout those years.

We didn't draft all of last year's rookies, so that's a moot point.

There’s good players in every draft, no matter how bad the draft. No stars yet in this draft but plenty of difference makers

Couldn’t find the Rookie Thread for this season. Haven’t been really following this rookie class. How are those top 10 picks doing? Living up to the hype?

Why are you discussing the rookies from the last draft class? You told us all to stop discussing them because they were all horrible.

    Take your own advice.

Memphis found a starter in the 2nd round. Castle looks like he has star potential. Knecht looks like an above average role player. Missi looks really nice. Clingan looks like he could be a defensive beast if he stays healthy.

It was a good year to not get a top 3 picks. Now there’s a draft where we really need a top 3 pick and other teams are tanking harder than us. We should’ve scrapped the vets for whatever in return over the offseason. Instead we’re going to hold onto them too long and mess up our chances for a top pick in this loaded draft. Which is very cringy.

How so? We're loosing games just fine. None of our vets are fetching 2025 1sts.

We just need to get rid of them. We need high odds for a top 3 pick. Right now the odds aren’t good enough
