Don't they need Al Gore's permission? http://www.technolog.msnbc.msn.com/technology/technolog/arizona-law-would-censor-internet-631407#
The mere creation of the law is a violation of the law itself. There really needs to be an IQ minimum score as a pre-requisite to public office.
Arizona House Bill 2549, which is now on Gov. Jan Brewer's desk for signature, was created to counter bullying and stalking. The law would make it a crime to use any electronic or digital device to communicate using "obscene, lewd or profane language" or to suggest a lewd or lascivious act, if done with the intent to "terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend." There is no way in hell that can not be a violation of first amendment rights with words like "suggest" or "intent... to... annoy or offend." I mean, Maris would be banned immediately.
I sincerely apologize if I have "terrified" any posters here. The truth is often frightening to bubble-dwellers, though I post it without mallice.
The last ten years the government has used fear and "protection" to strip way the constitution, why stop at just big government lets get states in on this.
