My fave still is the Meyers Leonard game against Golden State. Still gives me a good chuckle when people try to pass that off as some recurring theme we should expect from him.

Suns were a very good defensive team. I seem to remember no player on the Blazers put up those numbers against them last year. Maybe you want to find misery in the upcoming season but finding reasons to cheer for this team are where I hang my hat. Constantly bitching about the Blazers is silly in my opinion. Maybe that's what floats your boat and if it gives you joy, good, but I'm a glass half full kind of fan MM. Kaman makes us better next season in my view but feel free to bash away at the guy.By the way, way to pick a bad stat to showcase his ability, that also was one fucking game

What's wrong with expecting success and seeing potential? When did that become a character flaw? I don't recall any fan on the boards passing that off as a recurring theme but the opposite has definitely been beaten like a dead horse in a ghost town. Praise for Meyers only comes from his teammates, the coaching staff and very, very few fans.

He could make us better. He also could only play in 39 games due to injury as well.

That was my point. Singling out 1 game and saying anything about a team or player because of it is dumb. Charlotte killed Portland by 40 last year. Did that tell you anything?

I agree. I show up every Sunday at church just "knowing" I'll see Charlie Sheen sitting in the front row.

That was your argument on why you thought the Blazers would miss the playoffs. Fortunately your caution on Lopez didn't come to fruit. Hopefully that same wrong guess will be the case next season too.

Projecting 39 games due to injury? Is there really any point to that? Going into a new season even mentioning injury is dumb. Singling out a blowout loss with LA injured is...well you fill in the blank. Enjoy being a Blazer fan? I do!

Edit: Insensitive post and completely unfair to riverman. He didn't deserve that.

It would be better if the exchange didn't become a polarizing conversation.

Something I know I need to work on for sure. I used to be slightly more tolerant, but not so much any more.

It's also why I come here, I happen to like the moves and front office changes but if anyone needs a more critical view of the current team, I promise you, my views are not in the majority here. I respond to opinions just like everyone. I disliked Nolan Smith, Raymond Felton, Luke Babbit, Hasheem Thabeet, JR Rider, Patterson, it's a long list. If my opinions aren't "real" analysis, please put me on ignore. It's that simple

Big time. I was so pleasantly surprised Lopez played every game. HUGE for us.

How could you dislike Nolan Smith and JR Rider in the same sentence? Nolan is the nicest guy in the world, and Rider was uber talented

Don't get me wrong. Could you imagine if Lopez went down for even 10 games? Things would be bad!

This is why is like getting Kaman. I think Lopez's super increase in production as a direct result with playing along side Aldridge. I'm hoping, even praying, that that same effect trickles down to Kaman as well.

That's really not what I was saying, so sorry it came across like that. You see the positives in moves and intelligent people are making these moves so there must be reasons. You are good at seeing those reasons.

Kobe and Kevin Love are uber talented but I don't like them either, personal preference

I have a much better appreciation of what you go through with me being in the minority opinion about Kaman. I feel like I'm getting attacked at all sides as people question my intelligence and imply I have no common sense. It makes me want to bite back and I think I have become polarizing lately.

I swear if I don't like the next move the Blazers do i am keeping quite . . . or maybe even like it no matter what.

I so much more enjoy posting when we are all piling on you. :)
