Has learned the ESPN.com.br , the Miami Heat is not the only one interested in shooting guard, as the Chicago Bulls would also have a greater interest in having even the Brazilian 31 years. Also according to the calculation of ESPN.com.br , Brazilian entrepreneurs, Jeff Schwartz and Sam Goldfeder, had a meeting with Tim Thibodeau, coach of the team in Chicago on Monday. 3/4 of the photos of him on google are him dribbling. Of the remaining 1/4, the ones where he's actually shooting, he is unguarded for about 3/4 of those. They dare him to shoot. He simply hasn't been a very good player since 2006-07. How many years ago was that? 8? Intangibles!
The fact that Derrick missed tonight's game and the Bulls are in the hunt for another PG tells me maybe they're planning on him missing a lot of time.
Obviously it's hard to say how much should be read into this. But the fact that he's having to take time off after his first game is a little disturbing.
Rose may very well miss back to backs, and not play against weaker teams. It may take him quite some time to be well enough to play every day.
I would be fine with this if it meant he was in good shape for the playoffs. If the season goes as planned we're going to play 100+ games. Given the responsibilities he'll have to carry it'd be silly to think he won't need consistent breaks given his injury history.
It's really hard to read into him taking a few days off. Could be overly cautious; could legitimately be an issue. If he plays 65 games this year, it's a step in the right direction.
