The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has re-signed guard Kirk Hinrich. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not announced. “Kirk has always been a big part of creating the professional culture we want day in, day out surrounding our club,” said Chicago Bulls General Manager Gar Forman. “He helps our team in so many ways and Kirk had other opportunities elsewhere, but we are very happy he chose to remain in a Bulls uniform.” See more at http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/bulls-re-sign-kirk-hinrich
Hoo boy. I'm guessing this thread will be chock full of fresh new opinions and surprising views hertofore unexpressed.
Huge sigh of relief. In all seriousness though, it's whatever. They like him. Trust him. He isn't that good anymore. Hopefully he doesn't have to play too much
Say what you will about Kirk, but there are a few things that can't be denied: Over the last 2 seasons, the Bulls are 73-50 when he plays, 10-21 when he doesn't. The Bulls offense was more efficient when he was on the floor last year than when he wasn't, and the defense was less efficient when he was off the floor than when he was on it. That being said, let's hope Rose is healthy all year and Kirk doesn't have to play more than 15 minutes a night.
This probably won't be popular..... But I really did love that team. I thought very highly of the potential of Chandler, Curry, Crawford, Williams with the vet Jalen Rose. I was very excited for that season
