Tough choice between the Bulls and the Bucks. Both teams have the two best players in the division, Arenas and Amare, with solid guys around them.
I think Dirk is better than Arenas and a tad under Amare, but I agree Bulls or Bucks, and I pick Bucks
Yep, my thought exactly. I went with the Bulls for winning the division, even though I think they match up poorly with the Bucks and would lose a series to them.
I'm gong to talk down my own team. I don't think it's championship caliber, though I do think it's a fine team considering my draft position. If people didn't overlook Arenas, it'd have been very tough to build a team as good as it is. Seems like once you get past the top 10 or 15 players, it's very tough to end up with a pair of superstars.
Went with the Bucks. Bench is average but the starting unit is really good. Bulls dont seem to have a lot of outside shooting plus I do not have a lot of confidence as Davis being the back up pf. Plus bigs cant seem to score on their own. The Cavs seem to be at a loss of identity. Nash is more full court effective, Ginobili is good at both, while the rest is more suited for the half court game. I dont have the greatest confidence in Green, and it seems like the offense from the bench will either live or die with the long shot. The Pistons do not seem to have any backcourt defense whatsoever and seem to not a have a plan on offense other than depending on Dirk and AI. Pacers seem have question marks all around for me.
Bucks by 10 games IMO. depth is an issue but 4 of their starters are SOLID and McCants, Telfair, Tim Thomas and Green will do alright providing scoring off the bench.
The Bucks and the Pistons were blessed with high draft picks, so they will battle it out. If everything goes right for the Bulls, they can keep it close. None of these teams are particularly set for the future. The Pacers need to tank and rebuild.
