Love. It. Would be perfect for that area... 81 games a year and then it goes right into the Blazers season, then back to baseball season. They'd actually have something there all year.
It would be sad if a storied team like the A's left Oakland, but it would sure rekindle a rivalry with Seattle that we lost with the Sonics.

Have any of you been to the Hops stadium? Its real nice but I can't imagine them adding enough seats to seriously make this happen.
I'm confused why they need to add more seats to the existing 4500? Wouldn't the existing 4500 seats (assuming they all sell out) be more than they're drawing in Oakland now? I imagine the rent would also be far cheaper.
