    I'm really sad it has come to this, but I think it is best for both parties. There really is no move we could have done to build a contender with dame so it is time to rebuild and build around Sharpe and Scoot and future assets. And for Dame, I hope he gets a ring to whomever we trade him too, I have no ill will of Dame wanting out, he has given his all to this team, his blood, sweat and tears and I will always appreciate what he did for this franchise and city of Portland

    Tough day, but it also seems like maybe it was time. Every summer lately, dealing with the will he or won't he. Wish him well and hope he gets a chance to win a ring like Drexler did.

    Hopefully, Portland gets some good assets out of this to help the rebuild with the young kids.

    Joe pushed him to this. He gave Joe so many chances to take one swing any swing and the only thing Joe ever gave him was Jerami. It's bullshit. The only positive is that we can stop wondering. The writing was seemingly on the walls. Now just worried about the return, I know we'll get him someplace he'd like to be but he really wanted to be here. Fucking Cronin!

    He couldn’t be traded before the new CBA anyway. They could announce it sooner but the trade couldn’t be finalized until the 9th.
