Try the gallery option now. I think I set up the permissions proper.

You create new albums from your "My Controls" page - in the menu column on the left you'll see the link.

You can tie galleries and blogs together, too.

Uploading an image now works (my album is now online!), but linking in the editor does not; same error message [IMG]

I don't understand. Can you give me step-by-step instructions on how you got this error?

    lol, your avy looks awesome.

    Side note:
Where you can click "View New Posts", could there be options for it so that instead of seeing new posts from every team from every league, if this site gets really active, and a member is only interested in 7 different teams, could there be an option to fine tune the "View New Posts"

Lets say they are only really interested in these teams, "San Antonio Spurs, NJ Nets, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bears, LA Kings, NY Yankees, and Boston Red Sox." Could there be an option that it will only display new posts from those forums?

lol, actually its not really a problem with the current volume of posting, but it might be a neat option if there are members interested in teams in different sports, this site is pretty much basketball only at the moment.

Sure. Right now there are two supposed ways to add images to an album: there is a text/post editor window, and below that a dialog to browse your harddrive and upload an image. When I upload an image from my haddrive it works. When I use the text/post editor and use IMG tags or the "insert image" button/dialog box, I get that error message when I try to add the image.

ok, I pasted the [ IMG ] tags from the page with your image on it, and it worked.

I clicked on the insert image button and pasted in the URL from the page with your image on it, and it worked.

On the page, it has text boxes with these labels:

    Hotlinking & BBCode
    BBCode:
    HTML:
    Image Link:
    Page Link:

This is the URL of the page I'm talking about:

    You're confused.

In the 2nd post above with your image, I clicked that button and pasted in the URL from the page that shows your image.

It works like it's supposed to.

I like it. It definitely feels different since I got used to the old layout.

lol oh man. yeah I think we're talking about two different things. I've got no problems linking the image (or adding it to posts like you just did) from my S2 album, but its a matter of getting it there in the first place.

Here let me ask it another way: is there any way of adding an image to an S2 album without uploading one from your harddrive?

I know what you mean Jigga, I tried doing that, linking and image from another site trying to upload it to the gallery, and it won't let me.

Unless I save it to my computer first.
