chris gamble declared the other day.. etrain are they ur rankings or another persons? cause they look pretty good
Gamble declared then it needs to be updated. I have some freinds in low places dawk who always sends me info bro.
winslow declared and i just heard during the sugar bowl that white is gonna stay another year If a student is redshirted, they can stay for 5 years right? but they cant play the fresh. year then if u stay for the 5th year does that mean u still have to go to class?
Jason White pettitioned the NCAA for a 6th year of eligiblitly due to medical hardships...and was granted that 6th year, so he is coming back...and to play a season of college football you must be enrolled in the school and taking a minimum of 12 credit hours I believe which is usually 4 classes....players that have thier bacherlors degree(4 years) can beging work on a more advanced degree(usually a masters or a doctorate)...Many college players finish thier bacherlors degrees in 3 years and are half way to thier masters after 5, I have no idea how advanced White is at this time...
Yep beef i think you are right. As for jason white dawk im not impressed with him to be a good nfl qb anyways. Im watching this lsu, sooner game and im watching a scared qb throwing off balanced passes, when pressure is thrown on him. In the nfl you most have composure and pathience. I dont see it in him. I think he stays 1 more year to prove to scouts his injurys werent major, so he can climb higher in 2005 nfl draft.
Arnold Parker of switched from FS to CB a few years ago. He is a better Safety than CB. I did not see the following Utah players listed; Brandon Warfield on the list of RB's or Ben Moa on the list of TE's. Granted, BW was injured most of the season but could be a real sleeper. FWIW, Moa could be a hidden gem. He played RB in Utah's Spread offense when Warfield and his backup were injured. Savage (DE) could make a decent RDE or "3" Technique DT.
why would SD need a qb? they just drafted brees, id take a D player or larryy fitz or hell even give away their pick to the eagles this year like last year, rather than take a QB now if i was the SD GM. i mean let brees develop more, harrington, isnt any better, and carr is a little better and they came around the same time. a year apart
Brees is a nice player, but he lacks arm strength and is likely to never be anything more than a servicable game manager....this goes back to a discussion that we were all having at the other forums....teams are desperate for a QB with elite tools and since they are so rare, a team will likely push a player like Brees to the back burner if they can acqiure one....I see 2 QBs at the top of the draft with unquestionable elite arm strength, Manning and Roethlisberger, that will not make them a guarantee to succeed, but it will likely make them a guarentee to get drafted 1-2....the question teams will have to ask themselves when looking at these 2 players, is are they likely to become Peyton or Leaf????
Blackadder, This list isnt official a buddy of mine sent me this list, the dude knows alot im sure theres more sleepers not on the list also. I dont think we will see clarrett in the draft, and if we did he wouldnt be anything great he would difintley fall in the draft due to us all not seeing him play. and his injury prown body. He isnt very fast. Combines will determine where everyone goes in the draft. Beef, phillips is also a sleeper with a arm and could leap past manning or roethlisberger.
I dont think Rivers can go ahead of either of those guys without a major injury involved....His delivery is a 3/4 to sidearm delivery and teams tend to shy away from QBs with that....the other 2 guys have a smooth full overhead motion and better arm strength, which is why I expect them to go before Rivers....now, predicting who will turn out to be the best player over the course of a career? No clue!
Remember david carr had a 3/4 side delivery and at the combines he was being taught over 10 foot ladders to throw foward instead of side armed. Its funny cause you see carr now and his delivery is the way it was in college. I have seen pennington type composure from phillips in the games ive seen . Something they compare to the great montana. Im not saying he will be him but it is rare to see in todays qbs the kid truley is special. All 3 are. Interesting to see where they end up.

Its always good to know whats out there. I just got carried away in representing for my Alma Mater. FWIW, The University of Utah has surpassed BYU as the premeire college football team in this neck of the woods.
I just hope that Roethlisberger goes to Arizona and teams up with Boldin. That way, Arizona might finally have a real team to sport.
Gogo, doesnt matter anyways arizona will move more then likly in a couple years. You know tags wants a team in la. Red mcombs is trying everything he can do get out of that lease in the metro dome til 2011. I dont think the cards last even with a new stadium, they cant get any fans in the building.
