Nationwide Series driver Eric McClure survived the "most helpless and scary" moment of his life Wednesday night when one of the deadly tornadoes that have wreaked havoc in the South ripped through his home in Abingdon, Va. "It looks like a war zone, a mine field," said McClure, who spent about four hours huddled under a basement staircase with his wife, three children and two dogs. "It's a debris field as far as you can see. It's shocking. We have never experienced anything like that before," he said.
