Why haven't we already done that? We beat Indy, SA, and OKC. We already ARE for real. If we sweep these next four, the "December means nothing" crowd will still be able to say the same thing.

    1) Beating Miami would be huge

    2) Beating OKC on their floor would be HUGE

Honestly, I want the win over OKC more than the win over Miami. I want to beat them at home, AND their last loss was to us. They're on a 9 game win streak right now. If we beat them in their house, that would send a serious message to the league that we're legit.

We beat Miami last time they came to Portland. Not a big deal. Philly has beaten Miami too. We're better than OKC as we've shown when we played them last. We're the best road team. No that big of a deal.

Beating OKC in OKC is significantly harder than beating them in our house.

We should've swept Miami last year and were about to do so before their parade to the FT line happened late in the 4th in Miami. No way do we lose to the Clips at home.

Not for a great team like ours. Road and home mean nothing to us.

Careful what you wish for. 1-3 or 0-4 is easily possible.

Careful what I wish for? I said I hope he's wrong. Does it sound like I'm confident he is?

That NOLA/OKC back to back will be tough!

And Miami will look at our matchup as a statement game.

I agree with both your assessments. Miami isn't playing a no-playoff team any longer. I think they see us as a possible match up in the finals. I'm sure they come up for that game.

I would rather lose the Nola game and beat Okc on their home floor.

No it's not. Your head is stuck in 2012 or 2011 or some other year we sucked. This is a different team that we haven't seen the likes of in TWENTY YEARS. We're WAY too good to go 0-4. More people here have to take ownership with how good we are. This is different than all those years where we WOULD go 1-3 or 0-4. This TEAM is different.

Ok, so we might win 73 games this year?

The OKC game is the only one we have a chance of losing. Playing Miami this time of year isn't the same as playing them in the playoffs. We'll beat them at home, and injury-plagued Wade might not even play. We're way better than LA and we'll be pissed at the Pels for letting them come close in P-town. I say 4-0.

Looking at the opponents, days we play, statistics, etc, we should go 1-3

It's a little trickier because of the new rotation though.

Adding Leonar_ to the rotation is idiotic since he is exactly what we don't need.

Losing Mo might be a plus though

Interesting. Where do you think we get that one win, Miami or OKC?

I don't think they will get a win.

Right now though, and that changes daily, stats show @Pelicans is the winner
