Fiction: Rafer Alston might be a good back up point guard, but he will never have a "breakout" season.

Fact or Fiction: samuel dalembert will be a all star in 2 or 3 years

Quoting All-Star:

Fact: Denver does have the best frontcourt in the NBA so far after picking up Martin. With Carmelo playing at small forward, Kenyon Martin at power forward and Marcus Camby/Nen? playing at center, this will be a great front court with great defense at picking up the boards and also at offense when scoring the most points where they need to belong: in the paint.

Fact or Fiction: The Sacramento Kings will be within the top 3 seeds for the 2004-2005 playoffs.

My question is, is Denver's frontline better than the Jazz. To me, it's very close, but I may give the advantage to the Nuggets. Melo is a better scorer than AK but AK is a better rebounder, shot blocker, etc. Advantage goes to AK. Next, Boozer vs. Kenyon. Boozer, as we know was a great rebounder last season, but I'm not sure if he can grab as many rebounds, being in the west and all. Martin I think may equal Booz in rebounds, or come close, and Martin is already a better scorer and shot blocker. Advantage to Martin. Next, Camby/Nene vs. Okur. When Okur is given the minutes, he could be a huge factor. He can be a good scorer, rebounder, can hit the 3, block shots, etc. Camby is already a good rebounder and shot blocker, but he's very injury prone. And NENE has yet to impress me that much with his stats. So right now, that matchup is up in the air because of the fact that we haven't seen much from Okur.

And to awnser your question, fact. I feel as though, in the West it's going to come down to the Spurs(#1 seed), T-Wolves(#2 seed), and Kings(#3 seed).

Fact or fiction: LeBron James will get into the top 3 in All-Star voting this year and will start for the East.

Fiction: Even though LeBron James is very markatable, very popular around the world, and also a great player, I don't really see him making the top 3 voting spots for the East. But this doesn't mean I won't see him making the all-star game, which 90% he will if he stays healthy, but the votes would probrobly make him #5. My predictions for all-star voting this year for the East would be: Vince Carter at the top spot again, Shaquille O'Neal at number two, and Allen Iverson placing in the 3rd spot. LeBron will of course be a better player next year, but it is the votes that count.

Fact or Fiction: Dennis Rodman will enter the Basketball Hall-of-Fame.

Fact: He was a great rebounder and a champion. He had an agressive style that many coackes loved. He did always seem to need attention and he was kinda odd but his basketball career will put him in.

Fact or Fiction: The Nuggets will make it to the Finals next season and win the championship.

Fiction: They are a great team no doubt but they have great competition. Spurs,Wolves will give them a hard time.

If Rodman returns like he said he would, he will lead the league in rebounds.

Fiction: If he does return, he hasn't had any NBA competition in a long time, after leaving the Mavericks/Lakers I belive. He hasn't played against the new and improved Shaq, or the great big Ben Wallace, so that's why I'm saying no. He will be in the top 20, but don't get too carried away making him lead the league.

Fact or Fiction: The 2004 Celtics were the worst team that ever made the playoffs.

Fact: Boozer ended up with 15.5 points and 11.4 rebounds in the East when he left the Cavaliers and I don't see why he can't do it in the West. Sure there are tougher competitors in the West such as Tim Duncan or Kevin Garnett, but that doesn't mean why Boozer can't average a double double for the 2004-2005 season with the Utah Jazz. I think he will do it again, but the statistics a little off from last season.

Fact or Fiction: Tim Duncan is one of the best power forwards in the history of the NBA.

Fact he has dominated his position and won multiple championships. He is a very solid and consistent player who will be in the Hall Of Fame and remembered as the greatest ever to play his position.

Fact or Fiction: Dwayne Wade will be a bigger star than Carmelo Anthony.

Fact Carmelo will go down as a Dominique Wilkins type of player (selfish) , Dwayne Wade will do it all.

F/F Tony Parker will end up in the Hall of Fame

Fiction: Tony Parker is a very tremendous player, and I'm not saying he's bad player, but it will be close to him going to the Hall of Fame. He can pass, shoot, and drive it in just like any great point guard can do, but his statistics vary. The best year of Parker's career was probably in the 2003-2004 season, and I don't see him snapping off anymore. If he does make it, he will need to have another intresting season which I don't see coming.

Fact or Fiction: The New York Knicks should retire Benard King's number.

I think you meant retire, so well. I don't really know Bernard King. I have seen that there have been a few shows on NBA TV about him so I guess he should have a retired jersey, if mitch richmond can, he can too.

Fact or Fiction: Is Kobe Bryant the greatest player in the league?

Fiction Yao is two years away from being dominate and becoming the best center in the league. Even though Shaq is gone the west still has some solid defensive centers that can hold him. I think he will get 20 and 10 but will not be dominate.

Fact or Fictiion, Orlando will be better than last year

Fact, I see Dwayne Wade and Shaq being able to play very well with each other

Lakers are in trouble in my eyes, because Lamar Odom is not gonna get the kinds of shots that he wants while playing with Kobe, Brian Grant is too small to play PF in the Western Conference, and Caron Butler will not be able to develop alongside Kobe.

Fact or Fiction: Spurs will win the Western Conference

Fact: Spurs are led by Tim Duncan. He has great role players like developing Tony Parker who will one day become an all star. Manu(6th man of the year material.) Brent Barry(deadly shot) Bruce Bowen(one of 3 best defenders in league). Nuf said. With the right role players They wll win the West.

Fact or Fiction? Heat beat the Lakers at Christmas Day.
