Just realized there's no USA Forum for MLS, Yanks Abroad, and National Team news.

Well, we can post national team news in the FIFA World Cup 2010 forum since that is about international discussion. For MLS there is the General discussion forum that is also used for other leagues. I use it for Swiss Super League, Russian Premier League and J. League.

If anyone else thinks there should be a United States forum please state your interest here.

If we get enough activity. I will update the United forum a lot, but none others.

I would take care of a USA forum, but I'd rather not have the moderator title.

^ That would work. Why not become a mod?

But yeah we need the MLS section, especially that we're here in the US with a lot of Americans on the site. I would help agoo and ME with the section.

I've done it before and I don't want the responsibility, particularly with recruiting. I like generating and facilitating discussion, but that's about it.

USA forum up just in time for the Open Cup final. Good deal there.

So what the is appropriate forum for national team news? Is it possible to copy threads to two forums? For example, could my thread about the USMNT selection be copied to the USA forum?

I've been thinking about the World Cup forum as a catch-all for everything international. I'm not sure I like the concept. Its good for general threads like a UEFA Qualifying update, but I don't think its right for specific threads about countries that have their own forum, particularly if we're calling the forums by the country, rather than the league.

    Anyone else have any thoughts?

Perhaps we should name is "International" for the time being?

Still, I think its best from an organization stand point to keep the national team threads in their nation's forum.

Ah, I see what you're saying. It may be confusing for new members though.
