I don't see why you think Roco and Jones are good on ball defenders there not Jones get caught on screens all the time or they blow by him and same of Roco but are good playing the pass lane and help defense and Nurk so far hasn't show up in protecting the paint this what I see when I watch the game again. Trent is the best on ball defender we got.

Spurs, Mavs, Nugs and Blazers all have 3-4 records in the west...all are playing tonight but either the Nugs or Denver will break the tie...one has to lose. I'm hoping it's the Nugs...division rivals

Stotts just said, "If there's been a hallmark on our defense, it's that it is inconsistent."

    1) That's probably generous.
    2) That's not a hallmark!

Now you got me googling to get the exact definition of “hallmark”. Did you mean not a hallmark because it’s negative or because inconsistency cannot by definition be a distinctive characteristic?

Crap... I did not look it up and now you have my questioning if I'm defining it right. I always thought it meant something like standard/staple. Being inconsistent is not a staple.

The definitions don’t seem to say anything about it being positive or negative. But I did find various discussion that says it’s positive and have yet to find an example where it’s a negative characteristic.

    Hood back - yay!
Can Melo just slightly tweak his ankle just enough to be out for a few games and see how that goes?
