    Those jumpers hurt, but I like the current tone of the game anyway. Let them trust in their deep jumpers -- if we can keep up this pressure we will win.

    You are correct; he averaged over 28 points against Mavs as we split 2-2. And he really carried the team through a long stretch of the season. But his last regular season game against Mavs it was 18 points , then in first 4 of the playoffs, 27, 24, 20, 18, with the shooting percentage particularly falling in the last two games (9 for 21 and 6 for 18.) And because Dallas usually single covered him he averaged less than 1.5 assists per game. And I think the flow of the offense began to suffer. I think the playoffs are about adjusting and changing up and I didn't see that by Portland.

    I'm not saying they should have gone away from it altogether but I would have liked to see more games where he tried to draw Chandler out and let other guys attack the basket and then if necessary they could kick out to him for open jump shots, which he is very good at. Then surprise some times by posting up and I think if it is an occasional surprise he might be able to get deeper post position.
