rooting for 2 teams to lose, is twice as fun as rooting for 1 ??

Yeah, that was my point smh. So sorry that I won't be joining you celebrating the Blazer's fortunate break

Here's hoping for the best for the Wiggins family

Is it not possible to do both? Be hopeful for the best for Wiggins family but also understand this will likely help the blazers? Why does it have to be mutually exclusive?
The reality is Wiggins being out will make wins tougher for the Blazers. One can be happy gsw will find wins harder to come by, but also have compassion for Wiggins family, can one not?

Of course it's possible to do both. That Warriors missing key players benefits Portland's chances is obvious, but it's classless to celebrate your rooting interest's good luck coming at an individuals personal expense like this... that should also be obvious.

But party time is over as Wiggins is reportedly back with the W's. In fact I heard on local Bay Area sports talk they have their full rotation available and free from the IR for the first time since November

Beasley, Gallinari, and some dude named AJ combined 0-13 from three. Dame only had 20. Curry did a golf swing taunt. Milwaukee failed once again to improve Blazer draft percentages

Hate to see it happen to anyone, but this could be relevant to this thread.

The draft is almost always a bit of a crap shoot. This year more than others. It's entirely possible this could end up like the 2013 draft where the best player gets picked in the middle of the first round.

We really need Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and Lakers to hit their stride.

I'm not sure what you mean by context, but conceivably they could go 0-5 or 5-0 or anything in between right? It's just math...

same as ever, I root for the Blazers, against the Lakers and for good ball in general... as in I can't stand watching the Mavs iso games but the Nuggets v Celtics the other night was great.

Why would passing along injury reports on Curry and Wemby be somehow rooting for a team? I'm just watching games and sharing actual opinions instead of just hating at every turn as if thats the only way to root for your team.

just reread that silly temper tantrum of Mr Hottakes you referred to and my responses, how in the world do you pull that as proof of me being a W's fan? Good grief amid that back and forth I'm lamenting my lack of excitement for the 2024 draft class in general and state... "The W's are probably the team with the widest spread between their floor and ceiling this season. From the digging I've done on the prospects from the next draft, I'm unfortunately unimpressed with the potential of their pick whether it ends up on either end. Hopefully the W's fall flat and the individual prospects exponentially improve, but again at this point I'm a meh......"

As I stated early on in this thread when they were really scuffling, I think the Warriors are still a good team... thats not rooting, thats observing. While time passing has shown this to be true, I don't believe rooting one way or another has anything to do with what actually happens.

So why only mention the two Spurs games when it's said that Steph will be out for more than that? Seems like you're protecting your Warriors at every turn...

I was just curious. You seem to defend them a lot. Wasn’t sure if being in the Bay Area the warriors might have rubbed off on you.
