Andy has had a solid stretch on D,so far no opportunity to show us an offensive move. Seeing Andy in a game is sort of like seeing Paul Bunyan or Santa Claus in the game...it's Andy-he's a real player not just a myth! Meanwhile'W's on top in the 4th,Andy hustles.
This is probally the best game this team has played all year...Beidrins was great in the few minutes he got and provided good defense, rebounding and hustle..J-Rich continues to be a monster in the 4th quarter and everyone seems to be playing more confident with Davis on the team.. Haha gotta love seeing Arenas hang his head after the game, Jamison was trash tonite aswell..
Wow, either it's Davis or small ball is maturing (or combination of both), but we are really playing well lately. We had bit of identity crisis in 4th quarter for first couple games, but now Davis is handling the ball and Richardson is draining shots afte shots in 4th quarter. Kinda funny nobody saw Richardson coming in 4th quarter, but I am not complaining . Now, you can feel Dunleavy's presence, and his 15 pts feels very different from first half's 15 pts. Murphy is still struggling to adopt new environment, but 20/14 is darn good number. Fisher is also doing very well providing outside jumpers. And, of course, Biedrins brought quality 5 mins as well. For Washington War... I mean Wiz, Hughes really seemed to refine his game and drives at his will. Arenas didn't dominate the game as I thought. And, I don't know it's because Jamison is struggling, but they never seems to look for Jamison at all for some reason. But, I never remember Jamison actually playing well against us anyway...
I think I'm going to start calling Andy "Big Beans" after tonight. He battled Michael Ruffin hard down on the block and he is definately our soon to be shot blocking presence. Look out Foyle, he's already questionably better than you!
BTW, are we planning to live and die in 3 pts? We set franchise history for 3 pts attempted today. And, we have 100 years of history . I thought Davis was going like 0-15. I guess for a team that plays small ball, it's inevitable...
Wow, very nice win for the warriors. I agree with Ultimate Warrior, this is the best game the warriors have played this year. Beidrins played and played very well on D in limited time. He was very active. I especially liked how he altered some shots. J-rich is clutch. Incredibly clutch. Nice to see him bounce back after turning the ball over with a chance to win the previous 2 games before minnosota. I liked what I saw from MUrphy tonight and I am not a big fan of his. I liked he drove the ball inside a few times and took it inside without fear, despite the fact he was blocked repeatedly, I still liked to see that. If only Folye played well today then things would have been perfect. Jamison was awful, I have never seen him play that bad. I think he's lost alot of confidence. In his mind he still thinks he can be a number one option and is trying to force things a bit.

Foyle makes me cringe when he shoots those wing jumpers like he is Ray allen.

Wiz needs PG more than anything else. It feels like either Arenas and Hughes dribble, pass each other and one of them shoots the ball. You would think they will utilize Jamison-Dunleavy match up in post, but I only saw that happening only once. There is no question that both Arenas and Hughes can create their own shots anytime they want, but if they want to go further, they need to stop playing 2-5 game...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gohn:</div><div class="quote_post">You were close Kwan he was 3-12.</div> Yeah, I was bit surprised, because I don't remember Davis making 3 pts . But then, I was also suprised that he only dished 7 ast. Feels like he dished more than 10...
Wow all around good team game. I knew we had some chance of winning because of the Bullets throwbacks. It really has the Wizards playing like the actual bullets. 50% from the stripe... ouch! How about Baron Davis? Those moves, that passing and that courtvision is just so fun to watch. I can't believe the W's have a franchise player finally and one that makes everyone better and is an incredible mismatch with his size and speed. Also, J-rich, once he caught that alley-oop toss from Bdiddy for the dunk all over (Haywood/Ruffin?), you know it's on. He goes and scores some big shots from long range. Jrich suddenly becomes Ray Allen once he gets fired up on the slam. 34 points, 6 of 11 3pointers, 80% from the line, two steals, and 3 blocks! The guy is a workhouse. I also like the fact Dunleavy is playing tougher and meaner, which I like and he tried to go up and dunk on Haywood which was awesome and he got a ton of boards. Murphy actually gave us some inside presence today, which I liked and gave us lots of rebounds (5 offensive boards + 8 of 10 from the line. Good job, Murph, keep showing that hustle). Troy was banging in the paint and getting to the foul line, which was badly needed. Once you put the team over the limit, it's pretty easy to drive at will or post up rather than settle for all the jumpers we took today. What is that a franchise record on 3 points attempted? And Fish has been solid so far with the catch and shoot game (in addition to his 5 assists) and having Baron Davis keep the ball away from his hands unless it's intended for him to shoot it. Good win and we won it from the foul line too and with hustle and heart.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J-Rich23:</div><div class="quote_post">:dancepart YAY! We have a chance of winning. Just one question. What is your source?</div> <font size="3"><font color="Navy">Oh hey.. yeah, Barnett mentioned it in the pre-game.</font></font>

I mean Murphy had 5 offensive boards. 3 of them were like shots he missed at first off his passes and then got his own board and then Baron gets no assist. Oh well I ain't hating on Murph, he actually took more shots in the paint than he did midrange and perimeter jumpers + 14 boards + those 10 free throw attempts to help make the wizards play off on defense.

One thing is really funny looking at the stat sheet. Warriors have five blocks to the Wizards total of two. Three of the Warriors' five blocks were from Jason Richardson alone. He out-swatted the entire Wizards from the shooting guard position. Daayyymnnnnn. BTW, has Barnett gone one game without over-praising Dunleavy? I'm glad Dun is playing with fire and is hustling giving us a big double double, but please, he's really your 4th guy on offense and a key role player. With the ability to look like a star if the matchup in his favor presents itself. He did an excellent job defending the post, though

Dunleavy is playing really well lately, and he no longer feels like an invisible man. And, really, he deserves a lot of praise from fans. But, Barnett just make things way harder for fans to praise him. Yeah, he plays very well lately, but it's not like his every plays are work of art like Barnett seems to think. Nevertheless, it's much better for Dunleavy to move around, instead of stand still and try to make jumpers. With Fisher taking Dunleavy's previous role of stand still and make jumper, he got more freedom to move around, and it really does seem to impact his game. Also, it helps to see that Dunleavy seems to shoot better 3 and jumper coming out from screen...
Dun is definitely on my good side with that hustle and that lost look on his face suddenly erased. Murphy's giving us a preview of what he can do in the paint. Get fouled and convert at least 80% of free throws. That has huuuuge impact for our inside game. Defensively, I dunno, the W's have to give 110. Here's the game recap <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Richardson Lifts Warriors over Wizards WASHINGTON (AP) -- Jason Richardson scored 16 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 103-90 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Richardson, who also had eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks, hit a 3-pointer with 1:57 remaining to give the Warriors a 103-84 lead. Troy Murphy had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors, who were playing the third game of an eight-game trip, their longest since the franchise moved from Philadelphia in 1962. Larry Hughes scored 27 points, and Gilbert Arenas added 23 for the Wizards, who have won nine of their last 11 home games against Western Conference teams. Richardson's three-point play and 3-pointer gave the Warriors a 97-82 lead with 3:28 remaining. The Wizards went on an 8-0 run to cut Golden State's lead to 83-73 with 8:24 left. Arenas later pulled Washington to 86-78 but that was as close as the Wizards got. Richardson, who shot 12-for-19 from the field and 6-for-11 behind the arc, opened the fourth quarter with a dunk and a 3-pointer that gave the Warriors an 81-65 lead. He also hit a 3-pointer from the corner that gave the Warriors a 74-62 with 2:54 left in the third. Notes The Wizards placed forward Jarvis Hayes on the injured list because of a right knee injury. He is expected to miss four to six weeks. ... Wizards forward Jared Jeffries missed the game because of a bruised right knee, and forward Etan Thomas sat out with a stomach virus. ... Warriors guard Baron Davis rejoined the team Friday after spending two days with his ill grandmother. ... The game was briefly delayed to clean up a drink spilled by Virginia Gov. Mark Warner, who was struck by a ball. </div> J-Rich is definitely the hollow in the chamber, while Baron is the trigger. Nothing beats: (11:32) [GOS 78-65] Richardson Alley Oop Dunk: Made (20 PTS) Assist: Davis (3 A I might make an animated gif out of that one if I can find one with a good angle. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The game was briefly delayed to clean up a drink spilled by Virginia Gov. BTW props to Baron Davis for making it back for the team to the East Coast after having to attend to a family crisis.

Baron has given the whole team a fresh shot of confidence-ironically his firing away at a 25% rate from the arc was the sour note, especially the airball which was not even close. Anyone notice Kwame? I know he was on the floor more than Zarko or Bean but it didn't seem like it
