<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kris Humphries has a new fan. His name: Deron Williams. Humphries is the Jazz's second-year forward who scored 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting in Utah's 73-69 win over Charlotte on Saturday night at the Rocky Mountain Revue. Williams is the Jazz's rookie point guard - the No. 3 pick in the draft - who has been more than impressed by the play of his teammate in the annual summer league at Salt Lake Community College. "He's playing great," Williams said. "He's dominating. He's taking good shots and making those shots." Told that Humphries credited Utah's guards for contributing to his eye-opening play in the first two Rocky Mountain Revue games, Williams said, "We've got the ball to him, but he's doing the work. When he gets it, he's making things happen." Jazz coach Jerry Sloan has noticed. "Kris is doing what he should be doing - running the floor and getting some offensive rebounds," Sloan said. "If he does the right things, he should be getting opportunities." </div> <div align="center">Source</div>
I like Humphries, and I like the way he's been playing. He's been running the floor, going to the hole, scoring, rebounding, etc... Hopefully, he'll keep progressing to be a sparkplug off the bench cuz god know's we need it.
It is only the Rocky Mountain Revue, but the Jazz would like the way Kris Humphries has been playing. He should be coming off the bench again next season, but he should have improved from last season. He shot 44% from the Free Throw line last season, he can work on this.
I sum it up this way.............There's a difference between Humphries and the first year players you see in the RMR. It's called a year of seasoning............... But there's still a hell of a diiference betwqeen him and the frontline NBA regular!! Tank
