Sure we can. He did play a great game but he also did exactly what everyone figured he would do. In the end he forced shots and lost the game. He also has shown that he is going to play for free throws this year. The Clippers are taking notes right now. Lets see how he does tomorrow?
Second half scoring: Westbrook 10 edit:12 Lillard 10 and the W I'll take Lillard over Westbrook 10 times out of 10. Westbrook is a loser when it matters.
I'm pretty sure there was a thread that said something to the effect of "RW for Lillard"? Homeristic or not, your premise that we'd love him as a Blazer has historical inaccuracy.
I love how someone says "you guys would love so and so if he was a Blazer", when it's proven time and time again that many Blazer fans hate all sorts of players when they're a Blazer. Look at all the hate heaped on Wallace, Randolph, Crawford, Felton and Ha. Sure, none of them have the game of Westbrook, but it's not like all the fans blindly love all the blazers. Hell, YOU would probably burn every Blazer memorabilia you have if they traded for Kobe.
You are right, the 81 was in a win against Toronto, I'm trying to find the high scoring game against the Kings where he had huge points and 13 turnovers in a loss a Sac
I'm pretty sure Westbrook as a Blazer would drive me just a little bit nuts. The way he freezes out Durant at times drives Thunder fans batshit crazy and it would be a different version of the same thing if he played here (switch out Durant for Aldridge I suppose). I say this as somebody who hoped against hope that the Blazers would be able to draft him back in 2008, before the Thunder shocked everyone by taking him at 4.
Nope there are people I hated even when they were blazers. Raymond felton and dough boy felton and crawful and lard ass felton. Also players I would hate if they became blazers and want management to be fired: Kobe, Westbrook, harden.
