I think Walcott will be a much better player than Rooney at his peak. Just remember, he is like 3-4 years younger. Walcott is only turning 17 in April.

Ian Harte. Well back when Leeds were challenging for the Champions League he was absolutely atrocious, couldn't defend for his life and lacked pace. He kept on getting picked though due to his prowess from dead ball situations. You can't carry a player purely for their dead ball skills, especially in the Champions League. If you want to speak about current big name players I'd probably say Frank Lampard. You can't doubt his goalscoring ability from midfield but I don't feel he brings much else to the team.
Jamin, go look at Lampards stats and compare his to say Ronaldo. Those who think his overated probably rate him to high to begin with. Afterall, just about every major club in the worlds after him. Juding on this season alone, Lampards stats are better then both Gerrard and Ronaldo. So like I said, go check them out.

Stats? As in the Opta stats? I'm not really into checking into how many fouls he commits, how many passes he make, he long he spends picking his nose etc. Like to form my opinions from actually watching the players in action
