20+ page threads during draft time about prospects when most have never watched him play is always fun.

Will have to get more info, but I have seen with other draftees where scouts think they have the next Dirk that turn out horribly. Even with Dirk there is still concerns about every other aspect of his game besides shooting.

So you are saying lottery pick and that he gets a sizable contract after his rookie deal is up?

Better rebounder. Both can put the ball on the floor and are great face up shooters. Doesn't have the ball handling skills, or unorthodox shot that Nowitski has. He's just finally starting to get a little notoriety. If you haven't seen him play I suggest tuning in. He's going to be special. 6pm Saturday they play Butler. Check it out. He's good.

Just let the chips fall where they may. A team is going to be happy drafting Olynyk.

Golden State is probably happy drafting Festus Ezeli, but he did not deserve a thread pre-draft. Will watch the game against Butler though.

Festus Ezeli is absolutely nothing like Olynyk. Festus Ezeli is a Sear Sene clone.

That was not the point. Golden State is happy drafting Ezeli and he is performing far below what you think Olynyk will do. Saying any team will be happy drafting Olynyk is pretty vague.

Olynyk is going to be a baller.

Just let it breathe a little bit. We'll revisit.

I've watched Gonzaga play multiple times and he isn't that great. I really doubt he's going to be much more then a role player at the NBA level, if that.

Bullshit. My track record is just like yours minus the Morrison embarrassment. You can't whiff on a high lottery pick like that and keep your title of "expert".

Sure, I didn't hate the Nolan Smith pick, but that was in the 20s, and Faried clearly was a lottery player in that draft, which nobody called.

Apparently Zags' big claim to fame is Faried, but when a player is drafted in the 20s, and he never said he should be drafted in the lottery, does it even matter?

I actually go to NCAA games, and each March go to a first-round site for games with buddies. This year is San Jose, although we may actually just go to Vegas instead because San Jose sucks balls. Hoping the Ducks make it, that may change my mind.

Next year we're back in Portland at the RG!

No, you don't really have a track record. You never really go out on a limb during draft time one way or the other. I put myself out there and let it be known who I like and don't like.

The Morrison burn doesn't even phase me as that was like 7 years ago and he was a top 3 pick so its obvious I wasn't the only one that was high on him.

Oh really? I went on a huge fucking limb for LMA on BBB.net in 2006, and also was a Roy advocate, although I thought Gay may be the better.

You were wetting your pants over Morrison. The Blazers haven't had a pick that high since Oden, who I know you weren't arguing against.

A legend in your own mind. People are mocking you in this thread, as they should be.

I was right there with you on Lillard, and I actually did my undergrad work at a Big Sky school, so he was on my radar.

Plenty of posts from last year from me advocating Lillard and laughing at those who called him short, too old, or from a small school.

    Link? about Roy and Aldridge?

I told the board you could essentially flip a coin between Durant and Oden. I said Durant was going to be a special scorer, but you can't teach 7 foot and thought Oden could change the game defensively.
