    Only 1 losses from West 6 to 11th seed.

    That a big difference, making the playoffs vs missing the playin.

    I guess I'm starting to feel pretty safe that the pick we owe Chicago will only be a 2nd rounder.

    Somehow Cronin managed to not just hand out a horrible contract to Nurk that yes is a negative contract,

    But then he was able to find about the only center on an even worse contract to bring to Portland in Nurks place.

    Scary thing is Nurk might only be the 5th worst contract Cronin has signed/acquired. Cronin has only completed 2 full seasons start to finish as the Blazers GM - so I shudder to think what this franchise could look like after a decade.

    Only in Portland do fans assume a losing GM will last a decade. That's why I got so much resistance for many years, convincing people to replace Olshey.

    When I followed the Lakers and then Sonics, the GM was there...for the time being...as long as he did well.

    Last one wanted us to give up Grant, Sharpe, and a 2027 1st for Zion.

    I can’t imagine which contender would want him. Probably he will go to the Lakers for 2 unprotected frp and whatever salary would match. He is simply too old and cannot be counted on but you KNOW some GM will pull the trigger on him.
