Okay this is the second installment of "Who to Root Against". There are, once again, many games which effect our standings. http://www.nba.com/gameline/20141128/ This link will give you obvious updates and scores, so use it! 1.) Golden State Warriors vs Charlotte Bobcats: I would love to see Charlotte win here. I doubt it happens, but with this loss and our win, we can solidify 1st place in the Western Conference. Cheer for the Hornets 2.) NOLA Pelicans vs Atlanta Hawks: I think any cushion we have with the Western Conference is most important. Cheer for the Hawks 3.) Dallas Mavericks vs. Toronto: Looking at the big picture, you may want Toronto to lose. I still think Dallas is a obvious contender in the West. Cheer for the Raptors 4.) Loss Angeloss Clippers vs. Houston Rockets: This is a battle that benefits us both ways. If the Clips loses, we gain more cushion. If Houston loses, then we leap frog them in the standings. I want the best record in the league! Cheer for Clippers 5.) New York Knicks vs. OKC Thunder: I have come to peace that New York cannot upset anyone we want to lose in the West. I would love for more cushion over the Thunder! I'm hoping for the best! Cheer for the Knicks 6.) Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs: The Kings have a good opportunity to make the playoffs. They have a wonderful post presence with Boogy, and a decent supporting cast. But the Spurs are still champs and if we ever meet them in the playoffs, it would be nice to have HCA. Cheer for the Kings 7.) Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets: I have more fear for the Suns to be a good WC team, so the choice is pretty clear. Cheer for the Nuggets You could add Lakers vs Minny, but come on! The Lakers suck and Minny is no threat. Lets go with default and always want the Lakers to lose. Lets see if this is a jinx. The last time I did this, no one I wanted to lose lost. Hopefully that isn't the case! Use this thread to post during the games as a game thread for the night! MAGS signing off!!!
I agree that I am sick and tired of rooting for NYK. Also it looks like Boogie, Gay and Collison could be out [TWEET]538414831460962305[/TWEET]
I don't fear the Nuggets. They are on a hot streak, but that team is not sustainable. Phoenix looks like they have the best shot to make the playoffs out of the teams that didn't make it last season.
Some great match ups tonight. According to the current Hollinger Power Rankings: #1 TOR vs. #4 DAL #3 SAS vs. #7 SAC #5 POR vs. #6 MEM and #9 LAC vs. #12 HOU God dammit, I want them both to lose. That's going to be a fucking flop fest. BNM
Might we see the rare triple flop tonight??? Seems like a target rich environment. Bonus rep for the first person to name the bolded reference.
Weak sauce by Cousins. He needs to sell it more. He didn't even fall down. I'm sure his flopping is much improved this season, after a summer spent playing international ball with James Harden as a teammate - there's your target rich environment, playing with and against the best floppers in the world.
