He really was. He hit a couple shots when he got open, had those two big offensive rebounds. Great game all around for him. I didn't even realize he had 7 rebounds til I checked the box score.
Plus, he is has easily been our best defender the past few games. He deserves his minutes, especially with Hayes out.
That game was brutal on the eyes. I was expecting something more exciting after the first trip to the ACC.
Are you telling me that a comeback from 16-2 and the entire 4th quarter weren't exciting enough for you?
If you don't get excited when your team beats maybe their biggest rival on the road with a huge comeback in the 4th quarter, I guess you're not as big a fan as some people here are.
I enjoyed the win. But I wasn't too excited over the comeback because it's not that big of a deal, the game really doesn't have any meaning, both teams are pretty average .
True, but this sets the Raptos back to a 10-13 record, we are not vying for dominance in our division but this sets the Raptors back a game that they have to win to get back into the playoff race. Any loss to any of the potential 5-8 seed teams in the east is a huge gain for us, and any win against them makes it even sweeter
Nets started off very slow, but then they got back into it...all tied up at half time. Raps built a small lead in the 3rd, but then were horrible in the 4th (didn't make a basket til about 2 1/2 minutes left...Nets were outscoring them 23-4 for the quarter at one point). Raps made a little run at the end, but was too little too late. Anderson was great. Harris did nothing the first 3 quarters, but was great in the 4th. Hassell did the little things, and did them very well. Yi was in foul trouble the whole game and looked bad when he was out there, but he was "under the weather".
