Well no one is fearing the Lakers right now, buddy. Watch Minnesota @ Detroit (Assuming Rasheed plays) and feel the wraith. Now, what happens if Billups or Hamilton are injured. Anyways, it is a great move by Joe Dumars, by moving Chucky we will be able to keep Okur. Also, most of those players that we traded would have left anyways so the rent-a-player excuse doesn't hold up well.
wow...they could play memet in the middle, ben at the 4 and sheed at the 3. thats a deadly front court. with rip and chauncy in the back? holy poop logs!!! pistons are gonna be a force. they can run all sorts of crazy line ups.

I know you're happy with your team right now, they just pulled off a fleecing on the Celtics and Hawks, but the Lakers are starting to look like the team they were in the beginning of the season. Everybody is healthy now expect Malone, so when mid-March rolls around, we'll be back at 100%. You have a great frontline, but the Lakers' is still better. I'm not arguing, just saying that we'll see you guys in the finals...
Good move by the Pistons it makes them kind of scary. They finally have someone that you have to double in the low post freeing up Billups, Prince & Rip on the Perimeter. But my Nets arent worried, K-mart has proven on several occasions that he can hang with Rasheed down low. And with the Pacers having J. Oneal down low Iam pretty sure they are not scared either. But still excellent move by Joe Dumars.
I'm not ready to call finals already but this certainly improves the chances. If Rasheed can score consistantly and work his way into LB's offense then It's very possible. Indiana and New Jersey will still be very tough to beat come playoff time.

Rember though, when the Lakers were healthy, the Pistons nearly beat them at Staples (94-89) and won at home. (106-96) I'm just saying that the playoffs will be interesting. We now have a better chance to beat Indiana and New Jersey in the playoffs. Lets just hope that Rasheed Wallace fits in with the other Pistons and doesn't drag down the team.

:bigthumbu Dumars is a GM god.....The Pistons will have enough cap space to resign Mehmet Okur this summer
