I'd be shocked if the Wolves took Nurk... I mean they are prone to making terrible decisions but Ant and Nas would actually be enough to match contracts and I think both of them have positive trade value whereas I'm not so sure about Nurk.

maybe if its three team trade

one can see why it would be terrible for minnesota to have both gobert & nurk, nurk would become toxic, assuming gobert would be a starter

Is this realistic at all? Maybe put Simons instead of Nurkic?

Many players dont want to go there. I think KG was reluctant at first as well.

I just don't see ANY other young'ish-solid health-1st\2nd star caliber player we can get for him. Miami\Brooklyn draft picks can be so much worse.

And that's one of many reasons he's been exiled to Minnesota?

    Stay with Dame plan:
After the two separate trades below sign the best backup C with the TPMLE. I know a future first would probably have to be added to each trade and maybe even two to get OG and we'd have to get a commitment on an extension with OG if we were giving up two picks but I would do it to have a rotation of: Dame, Shaedon, OG, Jerami, KAT, Scoot, Matisse, TPMLE and a really good vet min guy or just see who pops from the rest of the roster Murray might be plug and play at backup PF.

Move on from Dame plan: We end up with a rotation of Scoot, Shaedon, Whitehead, Clowney, Ayton, Murray, Rupert, Badji... and maybe we get something in a S&T for Jerami and maybe we keep Matisse. I do like Claxton as much as I like Ayton but I just would want this trade to be clean and make sure I had all of the value intact and Claxton could walk after next season. If we worked something out with him prior to pulling the trigger maybe it's just a two team trade.

people need to think about the new CBA. KAT may be the biggest albatross contract in the NBA under the new CBA and 2nd Apron

Ya, KAT is a great talent but I could see MIN actually sending a 1st round pick (just one) with him rather then getting one (or more). They can't keep all 3 of those Centers, realistically, can they?

I hope this with a bunch of 2nd rounders going to Minny isn’t the plan.

what are you talking about...they can swap their 2030 first and they have Cameron Payne who of course is 6.5M of pure leverage
