Yeah the only time he usually signs is if he's in a great mood or at a signing event. He barley even slaps peoples hands coming in and out of the tunnel. My girlfriend said once "Hey VC why do you always look so mad!" he turned and actually smiled. This was probably because they were killing the Clippers.
That's funny. Once a friend of mine wanted to get Mike Bibby to sign his card. So when Bibby walked out and passed by him for like the 5th time ignoring him, he called "Hey fucker! Come back here!", Bibby turned around and looked him and said "What'd you say?" and my friend was like FUCK YOU! and threw the card at Bibby and Bibby just turned around and walked away. It was really funny and afterwards everytime Bibby had the ball my friend screamed die at the top of his lungs.
carter doesn't sign autos at games, his brother came up to me and said "you probably sell all your autos for money" next game i came with pics of my collection and shut him the hell up.
I received a message back from my rep at the Nets...he has offered a place for the S2 Group to meet...but it does cost. If people are interested in unlimited food and beer/wine and are willing to pay $25 to get into the All Access Club, he will arrange for passes. Here is his note. PM me or post here and let me know if anyone is interested in doing this. I am a viewer of Nets Daily as well, and will look up this Sports Two Forum/Bulletin Board as I find many of the comments on those boards pretty interesting, candid and creative. I am glad to hear that members of the group are coming out to the game tomorrow to either pay their respects or boo Jason Kidd. In regards to having the group meet somewhere, the All Access Club is a good place, but we actually sell passes to the club for $25 per person. That is the season ticket holder discount which I can provide to these individuals based on your affiliation with the group. The Club has complimentary beer, wine & soda and food which is available from 6:00 pm to the end of the third quarter. Please let me know if the group is interested in purchasing any passes. Actually, you are the third person who says they are getting passes to the club so far. Drew is at the office until about 4 or 5 tomorrow.
Weather sure is a pita. I enjoy every game, but when the crowd has a little extra motivation, its even better. If I even make it to the game, I doubt the place will be that full.
You guys think I should go? I'm in NY about 70 mins away from the arena. The snow is pouring on here, got about 3 inches already. But I figure once I get on the Palisades, everything should be fine, right? What you guys think?
I'm actually going to take the train to Secaucus...and then the bus from Secaucus to the arena. I did this once before and it works out pretty well. Let me know if anyone needs to know how this works.
