Ukraine has already fired them off. Since you already live in your mom's basement, you should be fine. Just duck and cover........

They sure did. They've officially crossed the red line the Russians drew. 6 missiles, they were reportedly all intercepted. Now we can only pray that the Russians show restraint. Wait for Trump to take office and end the conflict.

But if they do not issue a significant retaliation, they lose a deterance factor and only embolden NATO, who are clearly hinging their actions on the idea that they are "Calling Putin's bluff".

And the people who are cheering this on obviously feel that they'll be safe from the consequences. You guys are like deer that live in a nature park, you've lost a healthy level of fear of danger. These morons are playing dice with all of our lives.

Russia has made it clear that the action which was just taken, is a declaration of war. So we are now officially at war with a nuclear power.

Dumbshit. We're the generation that lived in fear of nuclear war. We never lost that fear, unlike you pampered morons who grew up (giving you the benefit of the doubt here) oblivious to the reality of the world we actually live in. Fuck you and your paranoia. Why would Putin destroy himself and his country? Time to call the MFer's bluff and eliminate the threat he presents. And technically we have been at war with Russia since 1945. You just haven't been paying attention.

We used to have drills like fire drills only instead of going outside we would go down to the gym that was a designated bomb shelter. Little did we know that if there was a nuclear attack we would have been toast anyway.

I remember having a school assembly in Middle School to watch The Day After. That was a really fucked up movie to watch as a kid, lol.

I guess now we find out if you were right for furiously advocating that the world bend over and spread our cheeks for Putin and if we all die now that we said no.

I'm looking out at the sky... I don't see anything except clouds... All the bombs must be above the clouds...

Here is a new video from radio free europe about Bucha and a gentle man who fed his neighbors bread during the occupation. It's horrifying that there are Americans, possibly some on this forum, who continue to deny that russians deliberately murdered hundreds of Ukrainians there. "We were ordered to kill everyone."

Tulsi Gabbared, echoing Putin, declared Russia is protecting themselves.

Wow, these are the only lefties who are actually talking sensibly about this escalatory move (only other exception is Noam Chomsky) Kudos to The Young Turks for being about to logically assess the situation rather than defaulting to the moronic tribal position.

Tulsi is a Russian agent. As to why the military has allowed her to serve as a leutinent colonel for the past 26 years (and she's still active), while being a Russian agent is a bit odd.

It seems as if Zelensky is preparing us for the loss of Crimea. Sounds as if he is aiming to return Ukraine to the pre-2022 borders. Big disappointment for me, but I wouldn't want any more Ukrainians to die for my own selfish interests. I think I have to accept that I will probably not be able to return to beloved Crimea in my lifetime. This is a sad day. Makes me angry that West didn't give massive military aid to Ukraine in 2022 and early 2023 before russia built their strong defensive lines and rebuilt their army. Ukraine could have won this war and knocked russia out of Crimea.

[IMG][IMG] "We cannot spend tens of thousands of our people dying for the sake of Crimea being returned. We understand that Crimea can be returned diplomatically," — Zelensky
[IMG] "We do not yet have enough strength to reach the borders of 1991 with weapons in hand," he added.

Thinking about it, this doesn't seem like a good negotiating tactic, giving up something in advance.. I am going to feel foolish is this turns out to be fake, but I would be happy.

Well, it's not fake, Was from an interview with a Fox News reporter. I have now seen the interview. However Putin might reject the deal since he is so greedy and since he doesn't value human life at all, except his own.. And then the war would continue. Ukrainians used UK Storm shadow missiles today for the first time into russian territory, Also their own missiles are going into mass production.
