Wes Matthews is our biggest flopper. I could see Wes and Harden brush each other and then fly in different directions. :biglaugh:

I'm sure they don't now, but perhaps you are misunderstanding what papa was hinting at earlier.

Asik was unhappy, no one is going to be unhappy when they are facing the playoffs. I agree with papa, I could see that locker room unraveling at the first sign of adversity.

Lol that would be pretty funny. Clutchfans (along with every other fan site) has plenty of homer posters too.

I thought of this when you said that, two of the greatest floppers of all time, Martin and Fisher:

I guess every team has a chance of unraveling at the first sign of adversity, but this has been a pretty tight group all year. They post instagram videos of all of them hanging out every couple of days it seems.

Then it will be an even more interesting series than I had thought. I admittedly don't know much in depth about the rockets chemistry. If they are as tight as you say then it should be good. These blazers are a close group as well.

I think that is one thing that brings all fan bases together, the unrelenting never ending hatred for Fisher. We had a trade that included him a couple years back and he pretended to retire so he could not play in Houston and go play for OKC. I also think he did something similar with Dallas. We have a special kind of hatred for him.

Now that Bogut is out I wish we were playing GSW instead. Oh well, we have played each other in the first round a couple years ago so it would be fun to build a rivalry.

Agreed. By definition I hate all L*kers, but Derek Fisher is in that Ring of Infamy that includes Rick Fox.

I've always wondered why so many rockets fans wanted us over GSW. They may have been a more consistent shooting team this season, but they are much less dynamic than portland. Meaning they lack a good back to the basket game, and their perimeter defense is anything but good.

Don't forget Fisher used his sick daughter as an excuse to get released from his contract with Utah so he could sign back with the Lakers.

Even more sickening, the national media applauded him for it.

Yeah that's what i meant when i was referring to Dallas. That's a pretty low thing to do.

Most are just scared of Curry's shooting. Plus they had a better defense this year and we (along with everyone) would rather play the team with a worse defense. That's why i would assume you would rather play us over anyone else too.

It's because, with Bogut, they're the best defense in the western conference and hence better than Houston (added to that, Iggy has caused problems for Harden before), and Portland is well...

Back to the basket is also the least threat for Houston, it can be a problem for Jones, but Dwight and Asik are both exceptional post defenders, and so is Harden (his one positive on defense, i'd even say Stotts trying to have Matthews post him up contributed to the loss the last game, no guard in the nba can post him)

Define best... Were they the best at not having the highest statistical defensive numbers? Or best at wearing their socks high?

Do you have any stats to back that up?

So....Nic should start singing "I'm a little Teapot" in French to destroy Houston minds on the court while everyone else trys hard to get wet? So confoozed. I better empty my mind or find my cup or something.
